I have the exact model Grand Power and love it!
Hi Jenny, i bought my Excalibur as my first pistol at all for about 3 years ago with no experince in firearms, but it just felt great in my hands, it is really a piece of art, just love it
I own a couple match guns that auto forward on lockback love that feature.
Thank you for your excellent review !
🇦🇺😎👍Happy 2023 JennyJ
Happy 2023 to you, Big Trev! How's life in the land down under? I was just mentioning to the mister that I was worried I hadn't heard from you in a while. Have you been doing well?
I bought one of these 3 weeks ago and I love it! I figured out how to field strip it easily and now I’m lookin at the 10mm 40l model. Great review!! I had the same reaction , the first time
I shot mine.
I have the K100, which is the duty gun in that lineup, and the SA trigger beats my competition CZs in stock configuration. Utterly unbelievable, to be honest. I can't imagine how the X-Calibur can possibly improve on what the base gun has.
Thanks for the video!! Haven’t seen one until today. Looks like a great bargain for what you get.
Todd, I agree. I think it definitely is!
I've got 2nd gen Q100. It's such a good shooter I plan on buying a Grand Power in every caliber. It quickly became my favorite gun company, don't sleep on it.
After a nightmare with a Victory I went on with GP: Great piece!
I have the STI GP6 which is the grand power k100 so base model. It great my only bees with it is the safety lever is mushy it need to be more tac tile.
Very interesting I may have to check one out. Thanks for the video. Be Safe
Thanks, Tim! If you can find one, definitely check it out. I fiddled with this one for months while it was in the display case and finally shot it. So glad I did!
Thus is my favorite pistol period...I'm left handed and I do timed drills with my friends and I swear thus is the absolute best gun for competition shooting under 900 dollars....and iv shot alot of czs and other 2000 dollar guns and I donno if I practice mire but I'm beating them with this gun and they got the czs ... this is a amazing gun that has a trigger like a 1911 but da and everything you need to hit an inch target at 15 yrds im serious
I believe it, Sam!! I was very impressed!!
Hey Michael Dunn, I take a gun over a sword any day LOL! Jenny there are a few more undiscovered Gems out there. Want to take a trip down the gun discover trail.😃😄
Sure, Dennis! Whatcha got for me next?
Have the P45L in my safe.Grand Power guns are top and the trigger reset is just incredible.
Next one will the XC 👍

Hello, Guy! Thank you so much for your kind words!! I look forward to seeing you around here. 🙂
Just bought a MK 23 Match CO.
Love the intro, JJ! That was really cool. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Thank you, Viejo!! How's the reloading going?
@@JennyJ1911 always good, Jenny. I did some 9mm today with cast bullets from a couple of vintage molds I have. Then also got some casting done. All between storms. We got hammered around here yesterday! ⛈️🌬️☔️💦🛟
They shoot nice, good job
Thank you, treesablowin!
Had one for a long time. Got the 1st generation, with the silver barrel and love it. Mine likes 124 grain bullets. You can find them just north of 600 dollars
Oh, cool, Ray! I like hearing that other people like this gun, too. It's definitely underrated.
Hi Jenny, that's interesting 🤔, I'm so use to the 1911 safety. You can only apply safety when slide is in battery. That fire arm can be set in full lock back. The rotating breech is also neat. I'd like to see the break down to see just how that barrel locks up. I take it, it doesn't have a feed ramp. Great review.😁👍
Thank you, Brian!! I appreciate you watching!
Good job!
Thank you, 1titansfan1!!
I have had the mk12 model for 3 years, got 5000 rounds thru it. It runs great, no mailfunctions and eats all ammo. Very accurate . They have a mk 23 match model optic ready now, which looks nicer and added extra weight in the dustcover, 300g? Recoil should be even less in that one. Should try the mk23 match model. It's definitely a good bang for the buck
Being a huge fan of the PX4, I've been considering one of these. It's got it all. Only qualm (if any) is the magazines. Why 15? Why not 17? Maybe offer extensions? About it. That and sight compatibility. No one really makes sights. Or at least, a rear sight. But despite that, Id love one.
I do not understand how I missed this. I was aware of the Stribog and have one. The Excaliber is a very fine pistol. I guess I just didn't pay attention to European arms. I did my due diligence and studied Arex, Grand Power. I have Girsan, Canik, and Tisas pistols. No one can beat Canik triggers. The first time I shot I could not believe the quality and accuracy of the pistol. I thought it was an $800 gun. Wrong! I was able to speak with the head of Tisas and we had a very nice conversation. European manufacturers understand that they must engineer and construct weapons of high quality. That wasn't always the case. companies located in Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Turkey produce weapons to compete with American manufacturers. There is no better example than CZ. I originally snubbed Girsan and Tisas thinking they were inferior companies. I was wrong. These companies are in competition with each other as well as the US, and that is a good thing as it pushes ingenuity and Springfield could learn a thing or two. So who am I to bloviate? I study warfare and conflict, and I wrote my dissertation on Nigeria to answer the question of why the Nigerian army could not defeat a far smaller terrorist and insurgent force. I have 3 masters with one in Military Science. I am not a firearms expert but have been shooting for 50 years and I study weapon performance. Would I take the X'caliber to war? No. The slide begs for fouling (dirt, grime, sand, etc.) in tough conditions. The K-100 is an excellent service pistol and is used by the Slovakian military. Would I take the Springfield Prodigy to war? No. Weapons matter, but what matters more is the quality of the soldier. We have seen this in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
I can solve your magazine storage problem. Send me the extra one. Problem solved! lol
And yes, I've shot one. I've also shot 22's that kicked harder. It's pretty amazing.
If any JennyJ fans like the X-Calibur -- give me a call at Gateway. Great Review.
Thanks, Les!! I appreciate that!
Love this gun. I use to own one but thier is like zero aftermarket support for it.
Thier is not a word in the English language. You mean to say, "there."
" ... but there is like zero aftermarket support for it."

I don't care. I posted that comment 5 months ago.
@robedwards6926
I love folks who are proud of their ignorance. It's as if they're saying it's cool to be stupid.
Which one is mightier? the Excalibur the sword or the X-caliber the gun?? LOL!!
Haha, Michael Dunn! I'm gonna have to go with the X-Calibur pistol!
Never heard of this model b4, not too bad....
Dludditt, there's one at Gateway! We'll have to shoot soon!
Is it better than a CanikTP9SFX Darkside. 2lb trigger ?? How far away is the target?? Very interesting. I can't wait until I get my TP9-SFX-S. Only UA-cam reviewers have them it seems!!
See if you can get your hands on a Rock Island Arms 5.0. From what I've read and seen on line, they are amazing.
9 mm, almost zero recoil or muzzle rise.
That would be a great one, Stanley!!
You must have a good microphone, I almost needed muffs when it fired
Oops! Sorry! 😆
Gun manufacturers been feeding us the lousy tilting barrel guns for so long due to cheap productions, that people forget how much more accurate none tilting barrel guns are. but 4 back straps is a waste, they should include extra mag instead.
