Its pretty simple in my eyes: communists, for example, have the connecting fibers between them strictly in the political area (political views very from person to person since the views are based on life experiences) this means despite an umbrella of “communism” everyone has their own way of thinking how things should be done. This is why there was a division between Stalin and Trotsky. While many conservatives have the connecting fibers between themselves in other areas, take for example the CSA (radical example, I know, but bear with me) the CSA was able to put up such an effective fight because they had a connecting fiber not in political ideology but rather in bigoted ideas of race, finance and “Defence against the Northern aggressor” (primarily the latter as the war raged on) Although the CSA lost the US Civil war, they were able to put up a significantly better fight as opposed to Lenin and Mao who faced an opponent that could only just delay the inevitable.

Is there a chance the chicken was an escapee from a local farm? did the man consider this possibility before committing the deed? while yes, the chicken is dead, and thus a "spoiled good." Did the man consider the chicken was someone's property before doing what he did? I mean there haven't been any wild chickens for probably the past 100 years or so. for all we know, the chicken could've been some little farmgirl's pet. Now, you could probably guess from what you've read that my answer is no, but what about the man himself? you could try to say that if his answer was no, then he wouldn't have taken the chicken in the first place, but it is just as likely that the man fully knew of these potential "additional extents" to this act, yet still permitted himself to perform this task. Or that he never considered these postulations and took the chicken out of blind lust. I feel that there are many different aspects to this conundrum, each given different weighting by different people, perhaps even to the point of being unable to imagine certain aspects due to being so swept in others. This question may reveal more about the person being asked than either party could know.

I'm sure all of this plays a role, but I think the simpler explanation is that right wingers are less interested in asking questions. They therefore have a smaller pool of answers, and so are less divided. Leftists question _everything,_ because they understand that the world is complicated and things like common sense, received wisdom, tradition, revalation, and what-a-bloke-in-the-pub-told-me probably aren't good guides to reality or action. Unfortunately, that many people asking that many questions about every subject under the sun is going to lead to a large diversity of answers, which it is harder to unite around. It's also easier to unite around the status quo or some historical status quo (real or imagined), as the right does, because even when the status quo is awful, it is at least known. Whereas the left tend to aim towards possible futures which, by their nature, can't be fully worked out in advance. So again, you end up with a greater diversity of possible futures being proposed, and it is harder to unite around those.

Both the left and the right have the same problem - their heads are often so busy with theoretical garbage that they don't notice actual reality. There is only one sane approach to policy - pragmatism - trying to balance short, medium and long term interests. Both sides are fans of "fixes" that makes things worse for the sake of the optics, eg. suppression of sexuality, handouts for the poor.

These people want to run the world with communism, where everybody has to be loyal to the society. And they can't even manage their own fucking communities, dumb AF.

Before I watch this I will explain why left has problem with infighting. Its because the "left" is incogerent category right now, manipulated to simply mean "opposition to the current hierarchy" which makes it very broad and politically very confused. There is no ideological connection for anarchists and authoterian tankies to share the same label when their values are diametericly opposite to each other. Sure they both hate capitalism even the state (or so they say) but for widely different reasons that are simple not compatible. This simple comes from the fact that you can be against top down hierarchical system as also top down hierarchical system, you just have to have the hierarchy based in contradictory way for them to fight. And if you happened to be somebody who wants equality you will be against both, but mostly against the one in power. This explains not only the confusion of political terms, the infighting in the left, but also the way the right views the left and attacks it. How often do they attack the idea of equal power and freedom? Barely. They use the authtoerian left as the whole left of course.
