The pile of heads scene is probably a reference to the manga Berserk and not to Evangelion. More specifically (SPOILERS FOR BERSERK) it's a reference to the scene of the Eclipse were the main charachters are transferred to a hellish dimension were the land and sky are made of faces and the sun is blacked out, like in the video. There, one of the main charachters is given a choice by four powerfull demons: to sacrifice all of his comrads, followers and friends (what is dearest to his heart) to be eaten by monsters and in exchange he will become the fifth demon in their group. That character is in a really bad physical and mental state by the time this happens so (with some psychological manipulation added by the 4 demons) he decides to make the deal. Anyone that has read the Eclipse can confirm that the feeling of overpending doom is indeed overwellming, but besides that, there is a parallel to be made between Peterson and the character from Berserk, both being in a terrible state when it comes to health, both having a huge ego and both "selling" their followers to "evil beings" so they can gain power and fullfill their desires.
Oh wow, now I see it! The asked the comments section of the video what they thought about the heads, but when they said "Berserk", I tried Google searching different variants of "Berserk heads" but couldn't come up with anything that looked similar. I do reeeeeeally love the interpretation that you gave though, and now that I've image searched "Berserk Eclipse Scene" I can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that you're correct. Thanks for your analysis: you've earned yourself a pinned comment for the correction ;)
Let's fucking go: I've loved this animation since I first saw it and I think I picked up on a few of these things but I really like this interpretation because, underneath the symbolic stuff, there's a more direct and pointed message. This was super interesting my guy!
I'm speechless. I wouldn't have come across that video if I hadn't stumbled across your channel and the further context truly helped me see that video as a masterpiece. Amazing edit and narration as per usual ^^
I know i am a year late but also jiminy cricket or JC was a way for people to say Jesus Christ without using the lords name in vain He represents Jesus

Thanks Violet. And say hi to your siblings for me (assuming they haven't been kidnapped by a guardian most foul)
