If u guys want to tip gas station people in Costa Ruca do it! Dnt have to be greedy in life like the pero en making this video
Cute boy that’s for sure… Hang in there girl, you’ll get through this. Welcome to family life… Are you nursing?
wow, congratulations on the baby- one day at a time and don't worry baby will grow into the clothes...and yes olla de carne is delicious, my tica wife makes it also
Congrats! I know I don't know you in person but your videos really made me feel more comfortable about moving to Costa Rica and I'm sure you've been super helpful to many others, too. It's great to hear you guys are doing well! What a beautiful baby.
Hi Emma, so nice to hear from you again. Congratulations! Baby and you look great! Please tell Mama Sue that I said Hi. I'm still here in San Luis by Lake Arenal. I hope to come back down to your area in the near future. I have to try that sushi restaurant. All the best to you and your family! Pura Vida!!
I will come from turkiye
Eres buena cocinera y se ve muy rico, por cierto tu español es bastante bueno, donde lo aprendiste
I have lived in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for 15 years, as a permanent resident. Yes, you can live with $1,000 a month, if you live in a modest Tico house, and like rice and beans! The falling Dollar, and the new 13% VAT tax, have made Costa Rica much more expensive. There are SE Asian countries that are cheaper, and have a better infrastructure!
hi..with all respect, you CAN NOT LIVE WITH 1000 DOLLARS IN COSTA RICA..I am telling you so, is high cost of living, the rent is high, groceries hig..electricity water cable internet..maybe if you live in the small towns..maybe, doctors bills medications..gasoline..bus sitems..clothes..everything is costly, 13 por cent taxes, inflation so high, please, be for real.. this is a very expensive country...veryyyyyy
So, I’m planning to retire in Costa Rica in a few years and my wife is Costa Rican. Is it possible for me when I fly back to Canada that I can bring all those papers with me so I could save time on the process? Am I allowed to leave Costa Rica during this application process, is probably the better question?
Instant Pot - or any other brand of digital pressure cooker- is best. You are the bestest Costa Rica UA-camr. Please do a comparison video. Thank you. You wonderful person!
This video was awesome.
❤👏🏻👏🏻
Hey, anybody also feeling alone in Costa Rica while travelling on their own and would like to grab a coffee?😊
Audio went bad
There’s nothing like Costa Rican Asian food. Sooo good
Hahaha! It is pretty unique!
Hi Emma great video thanks for sharing . I`ve been missing your videos. Who baby sit for you while you and Luis did this video ?
Glad you enjoyed! This was filmed before baby 🤭 finally got a chance to edit!
Always great videos 😊 Those sandwiches/ La Junta restaurant looks & sounds freaking awesome!! I was wondering where baby was, thinking how awesome it’ll be to bring them to see animals (I can’t keep track of time).
Thanks!!! Ohhh the sandwiches were so good! Soon enough we can include baby in some videos! This was filmed when I was still pregnant hehe!
@@EmmainCostaRica I just saw you posted a video about your first week of motherhood!! Congratulations 🎉
Hola Emma, me gustó mucho el vídeo, muy entretenido como siempre.
Muchas gracias!!!
Thx for the video. Saludos
Thanks for enjoying 🤗

Thanks for enjoying! That lunch was awesome, definitely recommend 😋
Retirees want to move permanently, thnx for advice and help, near market, food store, beach, farm and mountain. Blessings
You’re very welcome! Cheers!
I think it's pretty wild how I've been in Costa Rica for so long yet I've only really seen one or two of these animals in person...and of course it happens to be one of the most venomous 😂 Have you encountered any of these snakes or amphibians in real life?!
thank you for this - i booked to come and then realised it was rainy season so i was worried - but now I"m excited to arrive
So glad that I could help!! Enjoy your trip 🥰
I love you emma
Much better than Mexico and much cheaper and safer
How much did this cost? Thanks 😊
It depends on the type of car and number of people! I think we paid about 16,000 crc
@@EmmainCostaRica thank you ☺️
Much cheaper than Mexico and much safer.
Very informative! I appreciate your efforts and delivery. You are easy to listen to! Thank you!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed!
2 grand to live in a 2.5 world country?
No hot water? To rough for me
You can buy an electric water heater! They do get costly though if you use it a lot
Try the "nieve de guanábana" the next time you have access to a Pops on a hot day 10*/10.
I will, thanks for the recommendation!
Some cool details about the places you visited: The Museum of Gold is an inverted pyramid. San José was the 3rd city in the world to have electricity, after New York and Paris. It was a series of street lights that circled the National Theater. The National Theater was built as an exact replica of the Paris Opera House and has exquisite harmonics renowned among musicians through Latin America. Unfortunately, as a relic of the 19th century, it has quite a small capacity and isn't financially viable for more commercial concerts that usually take place in stadiums with horrible sound but capacities in the tens of thousands.
Love this, thank you for sharing 😍
Every Tico knows there's no such thing as a wormless guayaba 😂
😂😂
Thanks for your honesty and for your informative clip.
Glad it was helpful!
We went to Blue River Resort because of this video and LOVED it! Thanks!
So glad you went and enjoyed!!!
Lousy vlogging
Great video and insight into Samara. I travelled to Samara back in 1998 and it looks completely different than it did all those years ago. There was one or two places to stay at the time and no real tourist infrastructure. We were offered to stay inside the school but found a cabana up on the hill. The beach was quite empty back then except for locals and maybe a couple of restaurants. Looks like the place has exploded in popularity since then. Looking forward to returning one day.
Glad you enjoyed! I bet it looked very different, I would’ve liked to see it at that time!!
I've walked that road, presently at the airbnb Castillo or however it is spelled leaving tomorrow for a place further in town.. I have also gotten off the stop you pointed out near Bambu Jam, for sure it isn't the best area for walking. Good thing some folks were nice to stop to let me cross the street.
It has been quite a while since I was in the Escazu Mall. I thought it was a little nicer than most malls in Canada, ie cleaner, better laid out, enjoyable to wander through. Do they still have a Scotiabank in the Mall? I once had an account there.
Make sure the gas tape attendant zeros out the pump before they start and I would recommend never say fill it up
Also, love your vibe. So genuine!
🥰
