Great vlog! Your baby is so handsome and precious. How often do you see tarantulas there?

Thanks!! Haha, never! Maybe once every two or three months a large spider will get in the house, but not tarantula size, maybe about an inch in diameter including the legs

@@EmmainCostaRica😊 thanks for your reply Google made it seem like tarantulas were running rampant there we definitely want to go for a visit. What’s a good area for a family with toddlers? ❤

Very fun, personal and well done. Do you want me to cart down some canned pumpkin for you from Canada? Maple sugar?

Hello. I have a question for you. How would life be without a car in Costa Rica? Would you have to live in San José only? Thank you.

Hi! It’s really not so bad if you live in an area with bus services or is more walking friendly. Towns like Uvita, Dominical, Jaco, Quepos, Tamarindo, Santa Teresa are all pretty walking friendly, some are great for bikes. Buses are pretty common allover, though service is slow, and in San Jose I would be intimidated to get on a bus because it just seems very confusing. But most “well populated” areas have a bus line or two, even though having a car makes life A LOT easier and more enjoyable here.

@@EmmainCostaRica I have a fear because when you are in a new country, it's harder to find a reliable mechanic. Thank you for your answer.

I can’t wait to move to Costa Rica… So let me ask you, coming from Canada and moving into a rainy season country. Do you find it a little depressing during the wet moments of life in Costa Rica???

Honestly, I love rainy season! The hard part for me at the moment is really feeling limited because the baby can’t be overheated, so really if anything that can be a bit trapping and depressing, but it will pass! I know some people get down from the rain, but hey, most mornings are full of sun. The winter in Canada is much more “difficult” than the rainy season here :)

You'll be back in the US by the time the kid is three. See you in three years
