This is a channel about my journey into the world of Blacksmithing. I have never done any smithing before so watch me make all the mistakes possible so you can avoid making the same mistakes should you decide to head down the same path as a smith. So if you are also a beginner, join me and have a laugh with me and if you are an experienced smith have a laugh at me LOL. And hopefully you can give me some tips along the way.

Vevor Air Jack Product Review
Переглядів 1893 місяці тому
Hi, I'm Andy and welcome to FORGE WRIGHT. This video is a product review of the Vevor Air Jack. It is a Chinese brand, relatively cheap for what it is and in my opinion for the price it is a good purchase for the home workshop. Hopefully this review will help you decide if it is a suitable tool for your needs. I purchased my jack from eBay and if you wish to purchase from the same supplier plea...
Automotive Oil Film Cleaning Brush Product Review

Hi, I'm Andy and welcome to FORGE WRIGHT. This video is just a product review of a glass cleaner which has been advertised all over the internet lately. I tried to find an actual review showing someone using this product to see if it was worth purchasing, however the doesn't seem to be any on UA-cam at all, so I thought I'd do a review myself to see if its as good as the adverts promise, or if ...

These tools have been used in Korea for thousands of years and are incredibly useful for home gardeners as an all round digging, weeding, scrapping and planting tool...

Rossi 195 ES Welder Setup For Stick Welding And Some Info on Leads
Переглядів 2,3 тис.4 роки тому
Hi, I'm Andy and welcome to FORGE WRIGHT. This video is a follow-up to the video I posted about 3 months ago explaining how to set up your Rossi welder for MIG welding. In the comments of that video I was asked by Alex K, if I could show some of the leads I use with my Rossi 195 ES, and how to set up the welder to use as an Arch/Stick/MMA welder, as well as a MIG welder so this is that video. Scorpion Grinder Pedestal Stand Build

Hi, I'm Andy and welcome to FORGE WRIGHT. This video shows the fabrication of a pedestal stand for my 72" x 2" scorpion grinder. It is made from an old car rim, a length of 200 diameter gal pipe, some 10mm steel plate and a couple of pieces of 40mm angle iron. It is very heavy which makes it extremely stable, but as it has a rim for the base it is still quite mobile, which is great for moving a...

thanks great review. Same product I found on Instagram the description is really vague on what it does. It says it cleans the glass at the same time it makes the water repel I can't do both. Another scam junk item thanks for the review
thumbs up for your shirt, your video was good to. thanks
Haha, thanks for the shirt review, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
Thank you!!!!!!! Perfect
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
the product did exactly what i needed it to do which is remove oily film from my glass. I dont care for beading or anything, i just needed it to remove the water stain and oily residue. i did just that so i can drive while its pouring. Alcohol or degreaser works as well but this did the job easily
I'm pleased to hear it did what you required. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
O que tinha no seu parabrisa antes de comecar o teste? Pq o meu NUNCA fica dessa forma depois de lavar.. tinha cristalizador?
Nice job mate.
@lenblacksmith8559 Thanks Len, just a simple video but for someone who's never done it before it might be a bit intimidating.
Really helpful thanks Andy. looks like a mass media advert bullshit so will stick to my usual glass cleaner. Youre an urban coin saver! Thanks
@stephengallery4442 You're welcome Stephen. Yep, just stick to what you know works cos this stuff doesn't do what it says in the ads. Thanks for watching and commenting mate. Cheers Andy 👍
EXCELENTE VÍDEO!!! Muchas gracias!!! Lamentablemente ya gasté dinero en eso 😭 pero me alegra no haberlo probado antes de ver tu reseña! 👌🏻🙌🏻 Un abrazo desde Uruguay 🇺🇾
I purchased one but couldn't figure out how to charge it with the fluid so thanks for that, shame it's useless though.
Hey Ken, it is a shame this stuff is useless, but at least now you might be able to use the applicator with a different product, one that actually works. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
..it's a wonder that pieces don't just fly off a vehicle with all those snap together plastic clips. Good job getting it apart Andy...!
Yer your right, given there is only those 4 small screws inside the wheel arch on each side stopping it from bouncing down the road when you hit a pothole or whatever. Hopefully, once repaired, it will go on as easy as it came off 🫣
Thanks for the info I was able to waste my money on this but thanks to you now I now that it is a scam.
Hmmm, sorry you had bought before watching the review. You're not on your own in being scammed. These AI videos should be removed from all social media outlets, but there is too much money in it for both the seller and the media outlets. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
I really appreciate this video! You are an excellent product reviewer.
@SamanthaBatesTN Thank you Samantha, that is very kind of you. No one deserves to be conned by sellers producing AI advertising videos. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
I wish I saw your video before I went and ordered mine .only just received them has well ,absolutely gutted

thanks for the info. not buying.
Yes I think that's a good idea. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
okay i see many did not buy the product and a few did from the comments, well i bought it. and that middle cap to be opened for filling wont even come off. i tried with all my might, even biting that thing WONT come off... Safe to say i have not been able to test it yet. oh yeah i bought 2 brushes btw, same problem with both of em... LOL
I haven't heard that issue before, but honestly, it doesn't surprise me. It sounds like you might have a couple from a very dodgy batch. All I can suggest is getting a set of multi grips onto one of them and seeing if it will twist off. If it still won't come off, try contacting whoever you purchased from and ask for a refund. Good luck 😢. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
@@andywright2606 Thanks for answering! i managed to break the 1st one and the 2nd one i got up eventually... I have now put it to the test and everything is as on your video. I still have not driven my car, i usually go between 50-80 KPH. might be of use but we will see :) Anyway great video review!
@mogj33 Great to hear, I tested it when I first put it on my windscreen and you have to get up around 80kmh before the beads start to slide off the screen efficiently. Hopefully it will work well for you.
Mine just came and it’s the same as in this video. I’m returning this

@viralvideo6896 Yes it's a real problem these days ay. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
Thank you for uploaded review. I think I’ll stick t windscreen wipers lol. I had a hunch it was fake from the advert it made it look like someone dumped a swimming pool on the windscreen in the “accident” lol unfortunately a lot of gullible people will fall for this. It’s most probably just a wax layer
Thank you 👍
@patrickfennell8351 You're very welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
You are using the wrong product..
Sorry, but that is such a dumb thing to say. I am using the product advertised, purchased, tested and subsequently reviewed.
Thanks for this video
You're very welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
U saved me a hassle bro.. thanx a mil.. 👏👍
You're very welcome mate. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
What wire size are you using?
@hcgelderblom8687 Hey mate. I use 0.8mm wire and tips for the average materials(anything above 2.5-3mm and below around 12mm), and 0.6mm wire and tips for the really thin stuff(1-2mm). The largest I've ever used was 0.9mm on really thick stuff, anything thicker than that, and I'd recommend using a MAG (or stick) welder. Unless you want to really V your materials and stack your welds, which is what I did when I constructed the homemade anvil. You can find that video on my channel. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
@andywright2606 Hi there, Thanks for info. I have another question I run a similar machine than the one you using. Mac afric mig 150 this is the south africa version with 0.9mm fluxcore wire. What settings would you recommend for 1.6mm thick square tubing using 0.9mm fluxcore wire ? I know you mentioned that 0.6mm ideal for 2mm and below but currently I only have access to 0.9mm fluxcore. I have to weld extremely fast with volt settings set to max and wirespeed 8 with a wire stick out of 19mm to get decent weld . Thanks
@hcgelderblom8687 I don't know that machine, but if it has the same (Min & Max) and (1 & 2) knobs for the settings, I think you might have the voltage and wire speed way too high for that material size. Mine is a MIG195 so my settings would be a bit lower than on your machine, but with 1.6mm material and 0.9mm fluxcore wire, I'd be trying the settings on (Min + 1or2) with the wire speed down around 3 or 4. That should allow you to slow your weld speed down to get good penetration but without getting burn throughs. I'd start with those settings and tinker, adjusting one setting at a time. I never have my wire speed up to 8 mate. That's just for feeding your wire through to the gun when you load a new spool in. I'd also take off the tip shroud so you can get tighter into the material (try around 10 to 12mm stick out) and still see where you're welding. The shroud is really only useful for welding with gas. It just gets in the way with fluxcore. If all else fails, I'd set the machine up for stitch welding on thin material like that with a 0.9mm tip and wire. Then you don't have to worry about burn throughs at all. I hope this info is a help. Good luck mate. Cheers Andy 👍
@@andywright2606 Thank you Andy for taking the time to answer my questions and for all the information. Yes mine has the min and max and 1and 2 switches with the 0 to 10 rotary switch . I will set my welder accordingly as per you advise and try it out. Kind Regards Christo
@hcgelderblom8687 You're welcome Christo. I hope you can get it dialled in.
Seriously do you know anything about how water reacts while driving, beading is exactly what you need for this, perfect I will now go out and by this thing, even though you have know idea of what beading means, what a dummy 😂
Mate you are a fool. I am well aware of how hydrophobic substances react with water and the subsequent effect of wind. However, this review was made to demonstrate how the product reacts in real life, "COMPARED TO THE ACTUAL ADVERTISING VIDEOES,". If you had bothered to read my pinned comment, you would have known that you dumb ass.
You saved me a few pounds. Thank you. Any similar product that actually works and you'd recommend?
@jojosmooth Hey Jojo, you are very welcome. I have looked around for a while, trying to find a good quality product that will actually improve water sheeting, rather than the water beading created by this product (and others like it), but unfortunately I haven't found anything. I shall keep searching, and if I do find something that works, I will definitely post a video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Andy 👍

The instructions I found on line added a further step to finish, a wash & wipe-off of residue with a microfibre cloth. I'm going to try this but only on a side window of my car as I don't want to risk messing up my winscreen Thanks for the video
OK, I'm not sure that will make much difference, but please let us know how it goes when you're done. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
I bought it and it's fake, my came with water inside, pure water inside, so disappointed. FAKE ADVERTISING I spent $42.79 for this junk
Thank you mate , oil film ? Dosent make any sense anyway, imagine the dirt and dust that oil is gathering.... thank you for showing us.
@antoniog2661 Yes, your dead right, "Oil Film" is such a off putting name ay, not something you would associate with clean glass. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
Really appreciate this review - friend bought it for me as I'm having trouble seeing through my classic car windows when raining hard - so glad I've not bothered to try it ....
@junemoore2731 You are very welcome. I know the feeling. I have a restored classic 1977 LX SLR Torana with Tiny Little 47-year-old wiper technology. But there is not a chance in hell I'd be putting this crap on my Torana. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
not too point out the elephant in the room, BUT! simple beads of water of your screen while drive along the road like RAIN X will help its discharge and be ejected from the glass surface! being static as anything will sit until distrubed! but without or using Rain X which unless your skilled will have streaks! but each too there own and clearly you dont like...
@funkymonkeymediaproduction1942 Speaking of elephants in the room. HMMMM... See Pinned Comment
Terrable purchasing instructions. I only discovered you could buy the liquid seperately after watching this video. I did purchase the applicators though thinking they would arrive prefilled. Well nothing in the instructions says I can't use potato juice or Rain-X instead with my applicators.😅-Great review Thank you!
Hey mate, I reckon you have the right idea, those applicators can be used with pretty much anything. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍

@ No’ thank you Andy for going through all the trouble to help us with evaluating products and letting us know. You’re saving us wasted money. I bought this product and didn’t even use it, went right into the trash can. I left a review based on what you found out. Thanks again.
Thanks Andy this product is a fake ,These types of deceptions should be punished with large fines for companies, they deceive and steal the money of thousands of people and nothing happens to them, they just become richer.
@Pedro-j3f9f Yes Pedro, you are totally right. It is the company that is producing these deceptive advertising videos, but it is the platform providers that are knowingly taking the advertising revenue and promoting these misleading, deceptive, "fake" products. Legislation needs to be reviewed, tightened, and implemented to force these platforms to take down these advertising videos or face significant monetary penalties. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
Maybe you need to buff it like Rain X fog thing. The RainX is hard as hell to buff cuz it’s like some slightly oily feel but if buffed correctly the RainX is effective somewhat.
@dallasstang2818 Please read my pinned comment.
Thanks for the video, Andy. I appreciate your kind intention of helping others not waste our money. Thumbs-up, all the way! My only wish, is that I'd seen it 3 weeks ago; ... and I had considered purchasing the 3-bottle deal. (I'm glad that I only did the single). I encountered the same result. Happy New Year to you (judging by the steering wheel's right-side position, it's already New Year for you.) I really liked most of those HOLDEN cars ... several ("American") performance-oriented vehicles were Aussie-produced (the 17-digit VIN begins with "6", to signify Aus. origin). - Pontiac GTO - Pontiac G8 , "GXP" - Chevrolet Super Sport ("ess ess" to the youngsters) - Chevrolet Caprice PPV (it's either "Police Pursuit Vehicle" or "Police Patrol Vehicle" ... I'm unsure)
You're very welcome Robert. Happy New Year to you also. It is VERY sad that the Holden company was allowed to (or should I say forced to, by successive right-wing governments) whither and die 😢. They made some of the most iconic muscle cars from the 60s, 70s, and 80s right through to the awesome supercharged GTSs in the 2000s highlighted by the monstrous GTSR W1, the likes of which will never be produced again. Some of the early Holdens that could be purchased for around $3,000 to $4,000 when first made (now restored) are selling for between $130,000 (SLR5000) and $450,000 (Torana A9X) depending on the year, model and restoration qualities. The Holden legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of millions of Aussies. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍

Great review. Exactly what I was expecting. Seriously people, ignore these ads, all of them, claiming to offer MIRACLE solutions to all sorts, always by people without a glimmer of credibility or provenance. Always a scam, shame on the streaming provider for allowing them to bait the vulnerable out of their money. The old adage: seems too good to be true?Wake up - skip the ad.
@TheRealGurney Yer mate, your 100% correct. You can see by the video itself that it is totally AI generated, but people WANT to believe that they can buy a product that will work wonders and they WANT to trust what their eyes are seeing. It will take a few more years for many people to work out that they can no longer trust their eyes when it comes to videos and pictures. It is the fault of the platform moderators who know the videos are scams. However, there is too much money in it for them to act responsibly. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers Andy 👍
