Thanks Gurvinder, yes it's really good not having to wear those glasses🤓, my sight is not yet 100% but hopefully it will get there over the next few months. HoMi video won't be far away 👍⚒

Tip ive learned about best success w spring steel.
Working it hot is the best road to go. If it starts going dull red its too cool to hit...thats the point where the smiths actually start creating the stresses that lead to cracks and stress failures. Plus its harder on your body cuz that stuff is tough to move. Hope this helps you out some.

Hey Len, Its good to be back. Yes that's right mate Im going to post a video in the next couple of days showing my first attempt at making a HoMi. So you made one then, did you get that on video so you could post it on UA-cam?
@@andywright2606 Hi mate I had to do some practice to get looking ok. No I didn't I dont think haven't forged for a while, this colitis has knocked me, no energy. Having procdures next Fri. I will have to get a photo of the ho mi and show you. Came out not too bad.

@@lenblacksmith8559 Hey Len I just watch your neighbours review and Yes it is an extremely good gardening tool, my daughter swears by them and so do a lot of her friends. I just posted my HoMi forging video if you fancy a look.

I posted a video this morning of my first attempt at forging a HoMi. Turned out ok I think but then I would say that ay lol.
My daughter wants me to start making heaps of them to sell at her local market !!! sounds good to me $$$ Cheers Mate get well soon !
