Most business class tickets include lounge access where as in the case of this one, everything is included. Airlines however have started to launch more business ‘lite’ fares so I would check the small print to be sure :)

It does vary quite a bit. Typically, I’ll take it when it’s less than 50% on top of the economy fare, then I think it’s good value for money. If it’s much more then I look at economy or business class often 😊

@@Travelsbydreamer Thanks a lot. I am currently looking at flights in May 2025 from CGN/DUS/FRA to SFO and back home from LAS and came across an AA/BA offer where the difference between economy and premium economy was only around 150€ each leg. That does seem like a good deal then 🙂

Yeah, I’d have loved to have shown it but the flight was super short! Every time I go economy to the UAE it’s always 7 hours but the two times I’ve gone first they’ve done it in 5hrs 45 mins, it’s heartbreaking 😂 I think it was the French I went with but the NZ white - they make such good wines! Would love to visit one day 🇳🇿

From memory I’ve heard mixed things. A quick good image search would suggest potentially not but hard to say, hopefully someone can jump in and clarify! 😊

@@Travelsbydreamer I'm sure Blue food and drink is chargeable, slightly subsidised but not by much....a rather bizarre concept. Best to stay in the free zone. Annoyingly, the sleep pods are also chargeable.

@@garryb131 how bizarre! Annoying, especially if you’d spent thousands on a ticket. Wouldn’t have been thrilled had I found out in the lounge itself. Have to wonder what’s the point with so many nice resistant elsewhere no doubt in the airport…

Haha yeah was good right! Love the way they present their food, it was especially good on the 777 experience also. Hmmm I didn’t see any evidence of charging. Buffet looked free of charge, it’s possible that restaurant would’ve been chargeable upstairs but didn’t see any menus sadly with it being closed. Would be a shame if so, business tickets ain’t cheap! 😅

Hmm wouldn’t say they’re the best but price does depend on route. I generally find them pretty good but sense you’ve had some rough experiences with them!

@@Travelsbydreamer Multiple over the years. Most recently a no notice, no support cancellation leaving me stranded for 4 days. I have reverted to active avoidance again. Still awaiting expenses ((£2k) and compensation 13months later!

@@journeyingjohn3275 sounds like a shocker, from personal experience they really do need to up the rate in which they’re dealing with claims just now.

Thanks so much. The fleet is definitely in a transitioning point, that said, the vast majority of the Heathrow fleet is now finished with this new seat on the 777’s, 787-10’s, some 787-8’s and all A350’s. Just the A380 and the 787-8/9 to go now thankfully.

That’s a very good point. Most of the worlds population weren’t flying then so quite the change up half a century on for many however. The 757 is a pretty awesome aircraft, would be keen to get back onboard soon!
