In this vlog, I’m wrapping up my incredible 50-day journey across the Philippines and sharing my first experience in Singapore! After spending my last few days with some Nepali friends, it was time to say goodbye to the Philippines. Although I had amazing experiences throughout the country, I found it quite expensive, and eventually, it was time to move on.
My flight was at 8:15 AM from Manila to Singapore via Cebu Pacific, a 3-hour ride that took me to my 12th country! The excitement of visiting Singapore for the first time was surreal, though my stay was short - just one day. I arrived at the world-famous Changi Airport around midnight, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Changi Airport is more than just an airport - it's a destination in itself. From the luxurious design to the incredible amenities, it's truly one of the best airports in the world. I spent the night there, exploring the famous Jewel Changi, which has a stunning indoor waterfall and lush gardens. I even checked out the water park and visited some shops. For dinner, I had delicious Korean chicken and rice, though it was a bit pricey at 13 Singapore dollars.
My brief stay in Singapore was memorable, but soon it was time to continue my journey. After a night at Changi, I caught a flight with Air India to Chennai, followed by Kolkata, and finally, back home to Nepal. While budget constraints meant I had to cut my journey short, I’m excited to continue my travels in just a month.
