I watch a variety of cruising channels, and virtually everyone will tell you at one time or another that the only guarantees you have on excursions are with the ship-sponsored ones. I believe on one Carnival cruise, we were told this during an orientation meeting. $200 compensation is very fair, in my mind. Yes … many people have a narcissistic personality, and they don’t care that someone might be seriously ill or dying. In their minds, that’s not their problem. Gary had Lobster Bauletti.
