I said it before. It's like an old Repair garage in Brooklyn or something i love 😂 Old school charm meets new equipment. The way God intended. Don't change much....yea
@ChiefClassics That is cool. You should try and recreate it alittle bit. Aquire Willys Overland memorabilia, and petroliana to build the decor. Some walls backdrops, someday. I'm in Toledo only live less than a mile from the site of Willys Overland plant. Now a Dana manufacturing plant. The Willys Overland Smoke stack is all that remains. By Willys parkway and Jeep Parkway's...ofcourse we named roads for them lol cheers bud
@@jonathanfreedom1st dang that's cool!! Funny to think that they built a new building in small town Nebraska way back when. I'll have to look into that plant

Now we know why it was in the yard. Geez that frame. My first 65 was a white/red 2dht out of Winterset Iowa and the bottom looked like that but the car had a good boxed frame.
these are great old cars and great videos, misses you for the 3 weeks but understand we are all busy , just know we look forward to your videos!!! the very best.
@@dshine55 I greatly appreciate it! Thought I was going to have a video up sooner, but had things go wrong on the car I was working on. This is gonna end up being a terribly long video!!
I owned a 1966 GTO. the options for the radio was a reverberator switch. The switch under the dash which you showed me might be to activate the reverberator. I love my Pontiacs. 1966 and 1969 GTO. I bought both of those cars new and as the young idiot that I was, I order them without AC add without power steering. I live in Maryland so I don't know really why I was so stupid the day I ordered either of these.
I've owned several pontiacs over the years. I used later heads on all my older cars to lower the compression and for hardened exhaust seats. The 4x heads are 1974s, The gas went to nolead in 73. Too bad the frame is so rusty. Still it was nice to see it moving under it's own power.
Hey man love what you are doing!! I have been looking for a Pontiac guy on here. I have a 68 firebird and 69 Judge. I love them Pontiacs. Keep up the awesome content!!
The speaker switch is a "fader". It allows you to move the sound from front to back. The center position of the switch of course is both front and back at the same time.
It’s got the 1970s style oil pan on it plug on the side probably a 74 400 big it’s got the 4X heads easy enough to change the intake and use the older one. I’ve done that plenty of times. Just have to use the right intake gaskets
That's what appears happened. I need to check to see if that block will work in my 63 Bonneville. I'm not sure that the engine mount holes on the block are the same. Also, there's the whole starter on block vs starter on bellhousing deal. Might need to find a 64 and older engine for it
@ block will work mounting places are the same. It’s just the starter problem. I just bought a 64 2+2 with a 66 421 engine in. It runs like a top got it at an estate sale love them Pontiac they’re addictive.

there is some major things going on- if it was originally the blue no one would have ordered the car with red interior, so I think someone swapped a red Grand Prix interior- dash plate says Catalina fender says Catalina- also noted the Column Shift converted to floor shift.
@ChiefClassics wow, too bad. I have a 64 catalina that is the aquamarine. I do like that color better than the white. Lots of good parts though and it seems to run good
Another good video. Too bad about the little oil pressure. I hope it's not just stuffed with silicone and you damaged it running it with such a little oil pressure 🤞
Unfortunately so! I have another frame, but I don't think the rest of the car is worth the effort. I would just be putting a rusty body on a nice frame

If I recall correctly the speaker switches operated as: 'Front'-'Rear'-'Both' or F, B, R. depended on the make.
