Next Nemophila: Dissension, Hypnosis, Zen (Live version), Rise, Raitei, Ama Te Ras, size the fate,... actually can't think of a song from Nemophila that I don't love.

Recently one of the guitarists, Saki, left the band, but they are still cranking out AWESOME metal as a 4 piece.

My favorite metal band, this band kicks ass! All of their songs are top notch IMO

This actually is my favorite Wheel song and my song of the year so far 😅I totally understand if this isn't your style, but I am surprised you can just write it off as boring - to me this is one of the most realized songs I've heard in years in the Prog Metal scene and I think they were able to fit a great amount of variety in the riffs and textures, balance between soft and heavy, etc etc in just a 4 minute song - but again I understand that the style isn't for everyone! Personally I love heavy instrumentation but I struggle with harsh vocals so his singing as actually what pulls me into the song 🙏 and unfortunately based on this I don't think you'll get anything at of their other materiel because this is easily their heaviest song to date :/ (also they're actually quite a small band!) I do think there is a chance you might enjoy a band called VOLA! They're my personal favorite band and they're a much fresher, catchier, djentier modern metal band that Wheel are... You should check out the songs Straight Lines, Head Mounted Sideways, and Stray the Skies just to get a taste of their sound before diving into the proggier stuff 🤘

One of the few songs I didn't heart from them, because it's a relatively new one and I normally don't listen to it in a reaction for the first time (because the tiniest bits can turn me off in reactions and that messes with the experience of hearing the song for the first time) but it was a pleasure to experience it with your for the first time!

Saki is a guitargodess she left nemophilia and are soloing and sessions but she really shined in Mary's Blood they also an awsome all female japanese metal band

I love this band, and their lack of "signature sound", so they can experiment. I'll suggest "Life", almost a ballad, and "Night flight", with a bit of electronic sound.

Nemophila is a rabbit hole all their own. You got their originals and then their covers. Ama Te Ras, Oiran, newest song G.O.D. with the 4 member line up. Covers: Linkin Park - Givin up , Detroit Rock CIty by Kiss, Walk by Foo Fighters, Halestorm's Love bites. to just name a very few.

Maximum the hormone is HIGHLY worth checking out. They inspired many of the new wave of awesome Japanese metal groups.

Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - (ex- HöLDERLINS band) bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College; Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, "Destrose", and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and... Hazuki (KOIAI "Dark Indigo" / Li-sa-X, Disqualia bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience. Unfortunately, Saki left the band in march 2024, after the Budokan concert, thinking that her contribution was enoug after more than 4-5 years, pursuing her - successful - solo carrier. Nice to get another fellow Brit into the fold bit late LOL .Nemophila are one superb band bringing a fusion of metal and heavy rock into the modern music world appealing to all .As good as Revive is it doesn't even get in my top 5 from them .Plenty more on there YT +some very cool covers . Try Oiran the evolution version where they have gone to a 4 piece now or just jump in to the new one G.O.D. Also there live stage shows are right up there with the best .Have fun
