They are fire, seen them live twice in SoCal. Check out out Zen, Dissension, Ana-Te-Ras and G.O.D. for some more thrashier tracks. Very versatile band. Mayu is a beast on vocals. As with a majority of these all-female Japanese bands, the musicianship is off the charts. My fav band not named Lovebites.
Saki is a guitargodess she left nemophilia and are soloing and sessions but she really shined in Mary's Blood they also an awsome all female japanese metal band
Nemophila is a rabbit hole all their own. You got their originals and then their covers. Ama Te Ras, Oiran, newest song G.O.D. with the 4 member line up. Covers: Linkin Park - Givin up , Detroit Rock CIty by Kiss, Walk by Foo Fighters, Halestorm's Love bites. to just name a very few.
As others have said (or implied), they're a super versatile band. The focus is on the heavy, so that's definitely a plus. I'd recommend Adabana, Oiran (live), Rise and Raitei. Great songs to headbang to. They also have slower-paced and moving songs like Life, Odyssey and Yell. Their newest song G.O.D. was released just 2 days ago, as a 4-piece band. Give that one a listen as well

Sadly they are now a 4 piece as the amazing guitarist on the right side Saki left the band a few months ago. They are continuing as a 4 piece and have re-released some of their older songs as "evolution versions" where the guitarist on the left Hazuki gets to shine more and the bassist Haraguchi-san even plays some of the guitar solo parts. They did a bunch of video covers during COVID of bands like KISS, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, etc., and even an EP with covers of Slipknot, Metallica, System Of A Down, and Limp Bizkit. They just released a new single the other day named G.O.D. Enjoy!

I love this band, and their lack of "signature sound", so they can experiment. I'll suggest "Life", almost a ballad, and "Night flight", with a bit of electronic sound.

There are really three kind of paths you can choose when listening to Nemophila * Their covers, usually live in studio, they do for fun and maybe as practice - they are plenty good and mostly classic rock - fun stuff * Their MV with original songs, mostly more heavy and metal - very, very good. * Their newer live videos with originals, they go harder live, much harder and they have perfect connection to the audience. I shall think about if I shall assemble my favorite list. It will be long though and almost contain all their songs 🙃

Most people start with Dissention (MV, Japanese ver.) or Revive (MV) and then Adabana (MV), Rise (MV), etc.
'Zen' (live), Oiran (live) and Dissention (MV) are some of their hardest and best songs
'Odyssey' is an incredible power ballad (80's style) and 'Live' is an emotional ballad-like song sung in the video as a 'welcome back' to Tamu (drummer) after her maternity leave. Great songs that show the softer side of Nemophila.
'Ama-Te-Ras' is a quite unique 'groovy metal' song and one of their best as well

Sadly they are now a 4 piece as the amazing guitarist on the right side Saki left the band a few months ago. They are continuing as a 4 piece and have re-released some of their older songs as "evolution versions" where the guitarist on the left Hazuki gets to shine more and the bassist Haraguchi-san even plays some of the guitar solo parts. They did a bunch of video covers during COVID of bands like KISS, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, etc., and even an EP with covers of Slipknot, Metallica, System Of A Down, and Limp Bizkit. They just released a new single the other day named G.O.D. Enjoy!
Saki didn't leave , she was in the band temporarily, so she never was a full member plan was to help out an then do her own thing !!
@@rafaelornelas2085 "According to drummer Tamu Murata, Saki was initially only going to act as a supervisor to the group, before deciding to join as a full member." Either way, she is now gone. I enjoyed her more with Nemophila than I have her solo stuff.

I love this band, and their lack of "signature sound", so they can experiment.
I'll suggest "Life", almost a ballad, and "Night flight", with a bit of electronic sound.

There are really three kind of paths you can choose when listening to Nemophila
* Their covers, usually live in studio, they do for fun and maybe as practice - they are plenty good and mostly classic rock - fun stuff
* Their MV with original songs, mostly more heavy and metal - very, very good.
* Their newer live videos with originals, they go harder live, much harder and they have perfect connection to the audience.
I shall think about if I shall assemble my favorite list. It will be long though and almost contain all their songs 🙃
