Correction regarding London Ontario's Rapid Transit: the light rail project was scrapped several years ago in favour of a bus rapid transit system instead. I just double-checked to verify whether any new light rail project had been suddenly proposed but there isn't.

Hey can I crowdsource ideas for a transport planning assignment I have? It's very open ended and essentially involves me analyzing and proposing enhancements to a public transport system (local-regional scale) of my choice. This could be as small as adjusting the frequency of busses or as big as the construction of a new railway etc. A lot of my ideas have turned out to be already in implementation, so far the best I've got is the restoration of the Rimini - San Marino railway which I know they are doing feasibility studies on. If anyone has other ideas based in a city or region in western/central Europe that I can access please comment. Thanks.

While the track gauge is different, this should allow for passenger services from one country to the other with an across station transfer at Haparanda. Tbh there is no chance of getting a HSL from Cordoba to Salta even in a optimal situation. You can get to Tucumán but from there there's too much mountains and valleys to get anywhere above 120 kph unless you make it fully viaduct and tunnel
