Hawks have taken the most of my chickens that ive lost. Opossum got 3 chicks from my brooder and lots of eggs, I got the Opossum finally he decided to live in a shed by chickens i seen him 1 evening and gave him extra lead for his diet, found alot of broken egg shells, all my fake eggs and some of the remains of one of the chicks from brooder. Seen a bobcat close by gave it a scare haven't seen it in a few days. Stretched heavy string and 30 lbs fishing line and hawks just fly by so far. I haven't had any coons in my area, coyotes are near by but don't come near house. There are some wild cats around but haven't seen them after my chickens.

i don't think he made a mistake.. he mentioned how the flashing should be done and said it would be interesting to see how it came off in the Spring.. i figure he didn't want to attempt it in the winter. also, the pipe needs braces on the roof it it's over 5 feet above the roof!

FYI: I'm sure others have pointed this out but I'm going to do so as well you should know that the flue (the air intake control lever/opening) is on the bottom of most wood burning stoves by the way and seeing 16:14 the arrow on all the tubing was definitely pointing up on all of the tubing so it was definitely installed upside down. Rule of thumb Chimney is up the flue is always down that's why it looks wrong. Ya'll made the mistake of thinking the flue was towards the chimney and the arrow points towards the flue it's not the flow direction literally says it on the sticker. I have this exact same wood burning stove in my home and the flue control is on the bottom or side of the stove depending on which model it was. That adapter piece that was used to connect to chimney box was actually meant to go inside the opening on top of the stove. I hope you guys have since corrected that tubing install because it would definitely fail fire safety codes where I live.

Metal mounting box should have been trimmed all the way around for support instead of cutting the front and back off, it gives extra support for the chimney especially in high winds, the round chimney flashing cover should have been slid under the top shingles so they cover the top allowing water to run over it and down, now you just made a place in your roof that will leak very soon because the top isn't covered by the shingles, and no amount of silicone will stop it unless done right, it tells you in the instructions, keep an eye on it before your roof, and ceiling start rotting and causing black mold, as well as cracks in the metal joints because there's no upper and lower support because you cut it off instead of trimming it like you did the sides and screwing it down.

Ha Ha It looks like a mini outhouse. I'm surprised you didn't level the bathtub? It's all very white trash. Who cares as long as it works. I sure wouldn't call a bathtub a pool. LOL Aren't you going to have to clean that out every day or every other day? All you're missing is a crescent moon on the front of the house.

My Lord, somehow I guess by having the window open at night at my ground apartment with huge trees around I somehow got biting flies in my house. They are so tiny they can come through a regular screen. I would spray the screen so mosquitoes would try to come through, I knew nothing about the No-see-ums, this is what Google call them bc they are so tiny. Does the glue come with the Bug ball?

Just curious for any guinea owners out here. I had guineas for 25 years, been cleaned out by coons in 1 night , never seen a difference in how many ticks I personally got and agree they are great security systems. The oldest bird is now 11 years old, she still screams all day, eats normal, gets up to roost(indoor pole) but doesn't run just steady walk. Question is on this hen her crawl over the last 6 months has gotten lower to the point the feathers are gone and I can see everything she ate through her skin, what can I or should I do? I don't want to put her down but I know if she hits something sharp or just right there's going to be trouble.
