I have tried and failed at both! So glad you did this video!
Don’t give up!! You’ll get it 🙌🏻 The tote is a game changer but keep it in the shade if its hot out- its been in the 90’s here 🥵
I'll give it a go thank you. Will try with a rose cutting.
👍🏻 make sure you remove the bloom and stem tip. Rose cuttings need to be min 6 inches and try to get 4x leaf nodes - also take your cutting from this years growth ( young green stem) 🙌🏻
@@TheLittlePalletFarmhouse 👍hi 🙂 ok thank you I will. My mum used to just stick a rose branch in the ground (UK) and sometimes it'd take! I'll try your advice and be guided by love for life 🙂❤️
@@lovebackyardbirds I believe it!! Mums know best and its also true that plants 'want to grow' we probably overcomplicate it a lot of the time!!
I’ve also just stuck in the ground the stems that I’ve pruned. About a 30% success rate with very little effort. I’m sure if you give them more love, your success rate would be higher.
I've had success with some plants but not others. I'd like to master figs but I think rooting in water first might give a higher success rate
Yes ive wondered that too- let me know how it goes…
Have you ever used root powder for your cuttings? I’ve seen that recommended in the past.
