    I really appreciate this video thank you so much I’m installing two ceiling fans and light together but I only have 14-2 wire running from electrical box to fixture so both fan and light it’s being controlled by a dimmer switch I know it’s better with 14-3 but in this case that’s what I have so thanks again for the video very helpful

  • @kkp4297
    @kkp4297 12 днів тому

    if your switch is stuck in the on or off position and doesn't turn anymore, you don't need to replace the switch. Just disassemble the knob by removing the retainer clip behind the knob, and remove the spring loaded ball bearing inside along with that spring. Then reassemble. The knob will continue to work without the ball bearing. If you're too lazy to remove the ball bearing, you can buy a new switch for about $1 on aliexpress or temu.

    Thank you so much man of making it simple. Ace, thanks legend of simplicity. 🙂 worked instantly I used socks because my latch release is not like yours,smaller. It was easier than I thought too. I approached it violently just like you said. I thought it would take man strength, thanks anyway. Independence is so lovely and uplifting. You've made my day. Thanks also for the DW 40 tip I didn't know that would've used original DW40. I didn't know that one existed in UK never seen it before. Bye

    Someone told me a loud out of a fan (for two ceiling LED light fixtures) is not recommended and I should run independent dedicated wires. Should I run a separate wire for the light fixture or can I use the fan 14-3 for the load out just like the fan built in light for additional ceiling light that isn’t part of thr fan?

    I replaced the alternator on my euro civic with the 1.8. It was a little difficult to get the belt in line, because that tensioner is very hard. Yes, it's very important to watch your hands while doing this, getting a smack from that tensioner could possibly break some bones.
