I want to be as respectful as I can be here, because I appreciate what you’ve done: the sounds and interjections feel way over the top-and this is coming from a Patton et al. fan who loves farts and discord. Just way too distracting from the cool work you guys do.

Thanks? Respectfully, the show is firstly, a reaction of joy from Musicians Hearing this ridiculous and spiritual bucket list level magic. We can only be ourselves. Farts included! Thank you for watching!

@@deepinsidethemusic" Call and response" is one of the main dynamics of the blues! I mean come on....Robert just sang, " Give it to me, give it!" right before the guitar solo, and also sang, "you call me another guys name when I try to make love to you.... ain't no use!"

Please do more of these. This is literally the point of my tribute project. Understanding things to this degree. Seeing them live completely blew my mind. Yes, they are that tight. And the soundscape is just unreal. Josh’s rig is so insane on this tour.

Enjoyed your reactions. Heart was actually founded by guitarist Roger Fisher and bassist Steve Fossen in 1967. They became well known throughout Washington state. Playing small clubs, festivals and street fairs. Their original singer left in 1970. Roger put an ad, for a singer, in the local newspaper. Ann auditioned and was immediately hired. Nancy didn't join until 1974. Ann, Roger, Nancy and drummer Mike wrote Barracuda. Roger plays the lead guitar on Barracuda while Nancy plays acoustic.

Brian Mays guitar was built by He and his Dad . Burns of London were the manufacturer of the pickups. ( Burns Tri - Sonics) which are still available today. The amp he was using is a VOX AC 30 . In concert 9 of them as a matter of fact. The tone changes you hear on the takes is due to the fact that you only have a small portion of the tracks. What you have are ( A combined track) where Brian did the same take using different pickup settings to create different sounds. (Remember his guitar has the ability to switch any of the three pickups in and out of phase which each other) So he created ONE TRACK , made up of several different tracks playing the same thing in a few different phase settings. It becomes very apparent toward the end of the (Thrash Section) when the guitar very clearly comes in for a few seconds in an entirely different voice.

You’re off on the amp Slash was using. It was a RENTED, just for the recording sessions, Frank Levi modded Marshall 1959 Super Lead head that apparently came from Studio Instrument Rentals in LA. They tried to buy it later, after they had some money and fame. But, it was GONE! No one could find it! The rental company said it was missing, just gone, or stolen. I forget which ended up being the verdict on the final disposition of it. Either way, it is believed to be literally lost to time, which is just a crime done to humanity! Because when one considers its impact on that album, on Slash’s tone and reputation, and how that success caused “glam” or “hair” bands to start fading out to be replaced with “sleeve”, what that amp was and did cannot be understated in my opinion. It actually put other things in motion as well. Some include Slash, and his people, searching all over for that head, one like it, anyone that knew how it was modded, or just to find anything else that could replicate the tone with or without mods. Later, its popularity and the legend that grew from it also caused Marshall to do extensive work with Slash to develop his signature Marshall head. It was basically a factory built boutique modded amp, but built in “mass” on an assembly line. If, and that’s a BIG IF, someone could find it today, and prove it was that head, and if still working, and if the original mods were still in place, and with documentation proving that it was it ( like serial numbers that are legit, that match the paperwork the rental place had, and that people that know what the Levi mods looked like could verify they were legit and all of the time period…I dare say it would still sell at auction at one of the highest prices ever paid for an amp, if not the highest.

Agree on some of the banners n sound efx. The type of sounds you use seem more apt on a sports channel and some on cartoon clip. Its cool to hear some separation on great recordings. What a learning tool to have . Man, wish they had this ability decades ago. All the needle drops on the record player to learn songs, teach yourself guitar or go over a cool part. Tedious

I recall reading somewhere many years ago that the only members of the J5 on the intial tracks were Michael, Jermaine and Jackie because they were flown out to California first and Tito and Marlon came later with Joe and their voices were probably layered in later. I think this may be factual because when you listen to the background vocals you can clearly only hear Jermaine and Jackie and then Micheal adding some background vocals in the bridge.
