That’s no wheel horse that’s a wheel pony
Nice video, can you post a link to the fuel filters you use?
Love the doxie dog, made himself comfy in the chair at the very end! Watching you work made him tired!
awesome video.....should have posted it for $400!
Love it, now I'm on the propel for one lol! Still wanting a RJ
I have watched and enjoyed your videos. I am curious about some things. I'm sure you cleaned the battery cables before you attached them. Question: Why don't you spend 1 minute or less to clean off all they debris with a battery powered leaf blower? That's right 1 minute or less, Get a stop watch and time it. I did, and now every time I finish mowing, I spend a minute to blow off the tractor. You can always use the vacuum to get what you don't with the leaf blower. You may still need to use some compressed air for the hard stuff. Its a lot more pleasant to work on clean equipment.
Thanks for watching!
dont under stand why you did not pressure wash it off before you started working on it with all the dirt on it
To me it makes much more sense to get it fixed and drive it under its own power instead of cutting ruts across my driveway and yard by dragging it…..
"1 pothole from leaving the chat." Glad i watched to the end. Nicely done sir. I recently did a tranny in my 97 k1500. This gave me flashbacks, to doing it by myself.
Can you put the links in the bio for the starter kit?
It is……
What you use to clean the battery with what kind of wheel
what did you do with the transmission cooler lines? did u block them off at the radiator
With a few more hours work you might have tripled that selling price.
I like quick turn arounds on my flip projects. The individual I sold it to will do exactly what you said though. He runs a small used mower shop. On a side note rein, Did you think my audio levels were a bit better this video?
I really enjoy the channel and glad it is growing
Really enjoy your videos! Can't wait for some more!
That gas in tank is blk ??? Dang clean it before you work on it next time 😮😢
That’s what filters are for lol!
I thoroughly enjoy watching you work on the forgotten/ abandoned machines. Keep doing what you're doing!
I’m glad to hear because I have a blast doing it!
Seems to be ok if engine is ok Just need a clean job and service 😊. No big money but every little bit helps 😊
need a great shop vac. get a bauer from harbor freight. it's the best i've ever used and i've tried a lot of different brands. i highly recommend.
Great job an yes cleaning before u work on your project is a good Idea
Thanks for the Video Levi…enjoyed it on a Sunday morning
I do what I can for my followers ! Thanks for watching sir!
Always
My OCD kicked in immediately. Why didn't you brush off all those twigs and leaves before you brought it into the shop? Probably would have taken all of 10 seconds.
Must admit I was the same. I always give stuff a good clean off first.
Then what would I have to show you guys on video ?
Just saying cleaning off all the crap outside first makes sense 😊
@@LaidOffGarage Well, you could show cleaning off the machine first. That would make us happy.
Oh come on! That air filter was salvageable. 😅
That was your service kit btw 😂
@@LaidOffGarage Yeah, I realized. Lol
Very enjoyable video. Keep them coming.
good working mover for the new owner
You are right about this mower that was forgotten about for a long time the battery looks like a tractor supply battery 🔋
You got that Mustie laugh when the engine starts.
Give it a fresh coat of paint
It would look good but I’m really diggin the patina !
Those tires are worth twice that for tires not dry rotted and keep air. The deck perfect not rotted at all. Could have needed both spindles. With proper maintenance the guy will never need another.
GREAT JOB BROTHER BTW where in Indiana you at im in Dayton ohio area thanks Chris
Great music! Where did you get it?
What’s your opinion on fluid filming the under side of the deck? I know it’s common practice up north in the rust belt for vehicles but was curious about a deck I can’t imagine it would hurt
Temu & Vevor have great ultrasonic cleaners for reasonable cost. I got one & no problems.
Your fif a great job restoring that lawn mower I own a 1984 782 diesel cub cadet it runs great I love it
where is the tractor located at ?
Thats a nice tractor !!
ID Like To Have a Set Of Them Tires !!
I had this 111 model as a kid in the early 80's i loved it till we moved in 1998
@1:10 "I don't really need another one" I'm not sure you understand your subscribers, because yes, you need *ALL* of them
Don’t ever ever ever ever ever use ether on gas Engine is bad for him. You can use two cycle. Gas with oil or normal. Gas ether burns too hot. You will burn up the motor and have Junk. I work on Small Engine for living. Do not use ether or fluid only, and also your homemade jump pack has two skinny of wires. You’re gonna melt them and cause a fire you need to start paying attention more to detail instead of making videos with the wrong equipment.
416s are great machines. We had one here as our main cutter for probably 15 years. It just died this fall, but had like 2600 hrs on it. So we still have a 312 and a 518, and a new Bobcat ZT2000 zero turn. Now that one cuts!
I've had several and the only problems I've had with them have been onan related. Thanks for watching!
@@LaidOffGarage I agree the onan's can be problematic engines. But after getting over 2600 hrs on it, I can't complain. And we still have a couple other Toros we are still using here.
Thanks! Nice video....
Nice riding mower by toro
It's always good to take tire off completely just to make sure there's nothing sharp on inside of the rim that will puncture the tube
That's what I told myself to feel better lol!
I notice that most who work on old stuff don't wash it before starting. For me I hated cob webs, dirt, bees' nests and all the other stuff neglected stuff accumulates. So for me a good wash and cleaning of the item came first. Helped my work cloths last longer too. How come so many don't want to do this? I acknowledge their choice. Just interested in why most let the power wash to last,
To be honest I don't want to waste time washing something that ends up being junk. Usually I make sure it'll move under its own power before hand.
Smokes more than the old gas motor. Rebuild it and put it back on.
What size are those rear tires? I like how they look, I have a 417a and would like to.put new meats on the rear
i believe they are 23x10.50s
I am almost 70 yrs old and messing with old lawn and garden tractors has always been a hobby of mine. It’s just gets in your blood taking that old junk and hearing it come to life. I just drug one in last night.
Keeps me out of trouble and if you do it right, the hobby pays for itself!
I have a couple thoughts about your videos. First, the audio is very erratic. You might think about a lavalier mic so you’re always the same distance from it. Second, I understand that you are trying to make income on UA-cam, but there are some extremes one can go to which may hurt your views. One of them is allowing too frequent advertisements. This is certainly the case on your channel. Please consider cutting back on the ads a bit. I have experienced a couple creators who have no ads and one of them has a huge viewership and is very successful - James Condon
Howdy Rein! Thanks for your feedback. As far as the ads go, YT has increasing ad duration and frequency and I've got no control over that.
@@LaidOffGarage Oh, okay. Didn’t know that. 👍
Use a Vacuum cleaner to pull the saw dust out of the carb intake before cranking it over.
I like your hat. Do you work for imi?
