The Penguin has to be my favorite plane just because of its uniqueness in how it can fly. It can handle high alpha, it can handle higher speeds (just don't expect a super efficient speedster). My setup, some thoughts, and some info on doing high alpha in the AtomRC Penguin. This is a great little basher of a plane. Keep it light and it stays very maneuverable. Do you know what asymmetric throttle on 4S would do? Neither did I but it turns out it does something really awesome. Two things are kind of fascinating about such a crazy spin. Back on the farm. Love flying the NG around. The O3 quality is great too...but I miss not having sound from the plane. Found some new gaps to fly through...sometimes successfully, sometimes not.

Out with RomulusFPV. Wind wasn't fully cooperating, but we still had a great time. A few crashed planes, broken Caddx Peanut lens, and an elevator servo that randomly stopped working. Keeps us on our toes. I converted my T1 to the DJI O3 setup. Enjoying the clarity for sure. Now have 2 planes on O3. If ony they didn't cost an actual arm and leg.

First get together of the season. SmackFpv kindly lets us use his property again, Romulus, Notamed Closed JR, and another friend who showed up with his brand new AtomRC Swordfish (check 2:30 for its first unexpected velocity change). T1s, Dolphins, Nano Goblins, Swordfish, Darts, Talons, Spec wings, Nano Draks, you name it, we were flying it.

First flights on the Nano Goblin with DJI O3 system. The O3 can do its own stabilization, called RockSteady. It can also instead record gyro data for use with Gyroflow. However, as I'm learning, you have to use particular settings or it doesn't save gyro data. So you may see a few sections with unstabilized video.

Some people asked so here is some DVR. Well not quite, it's the Insta360 go2 footage but not stabilized. Just the lens distortion removed with Gyroflow. Should be quite a noticeable difference. AtomRC Dolphin and HeeWing T1 Ranger
