great flying. wondering what props you use on the 1408 motors. Looking for a bit more powerful then the stock 1404 and cant decide yet if 1408 or 1507.

What type of batteries did you come up with? There are doubts that 3S 21700 will be unnecessarily heavy
A 3s 21700 is definitely on the heavy side though the plane should handle it. I have used 3S 18650 and 4S 18650 but I prefer a ~1000mAh 3S or so. Keeps the plane nimble.

I do the same T1. I have a question about DJI Unit cooling. How to make it so that it does not overheat?
Get airborne quickly!!! Once you are flying as long as your Vista or Air unit is getting airflow it should be fine. If your FC allows for powering the GPS via USB you can power the FC and get GPS lock first, then do the main power before taking off.
