The comments about the way committee meetings are organized and conducted disturbs me greatly--I felt a lot of things were so unjust while I was in the org 23+ years ago. Then talking to exjws and the invasive questions asked in committee meetings really sealed the deal that I was spot on to leave. Also the books of the Bible from the Old Testament and the stories contained therein were really sickening and disturbing. When I read My Book of Bibles Stories to my granddaughter nearly 30 years ago, I was horrified how negative and punishing the stories were. The message was do this and you will be severely punished with death and the jws perpetuated the fear constantly. I could not find one redeeming story in that book so never read it to her again. I think I had been PIMO for a long time. Because of all the things you have talked about, I have soured on organized religion. Thank you for this video.

Thank you for this great interview. I'm speechless as to what to say to this sister...but, ...the abuse was from men, not from Jehovah. Separating what "the organization" does from what Jehovah wants for us is essential, IMHO.

Sexual dysfunction doesn’t equal dead bedrooms in married couples. It can. But thats not it. Its guilt because we are beat down as children with the very clear message that sex is disgusting, unclean, sinful. This can cause many issues including being afraid of your own body, afraid of other bodies, or on the other end of the spectrum, unsafe sex with multiple partners, being easily groomed/taken advantage of, SA, abusive relationships, etc etc

Who is you neighbor? It doesn’t matter what the religion that you have is what matters is how people treat you. Who is your neighbor the person that have the same religion or the person that treat you like a human? There is no need for labels in order to know how to treat one another. This is so true. I have been very discouraged by the way some elders treated me. I feel that the way they treated me was base in their own opinion, and not like a human being going true a tough time.

Important issue here is that we have to have clear vision for the future. It is very confusing and shaks you to your bones that you really believe in the doctrines without asking questions. Important doctrines changing completely and I wasn't even aware most times. I never believed that can happened. I used to believe this was the truth but today I don't believe that anymore. However, firmly believe to my Creator and the purpose He must have. He should have a plan for our future, just the Organisation somehow got the wrong turn. Time definitely will tell.

45 years ago WT admitted to me, my wife, and Enumclaw Washington elder via circuit servant ex- military circuit servant Dallas Gualtney that WT knew that WT policy on beards was not Biblical. The only thing WT was interested in was if I was trying to start my own religion. Putin is selling Kingdom Halls built after Peristroica allowef freedom to invest in property that now is being liquidated . Perhaps the lack of hours will be used to liquidate the parsonage homes WT owns because a preacher who doesn't preach doesn't qualify to have his house be a tax exempt parsonage.

There are many situations and places where you don’t exert your free will. You follow the laws set by the governmental institutions, you follow the rules of your place of employment, school and any institution you belong to. When you decide willingly to accept the rules in the JW organization you have as well to follow their rules even if those rules are not founded in the Bible. Even if you think differently you just have to behave like a sheep. It is like if your reality is like if you are plugged into The Matrix. It is just like any other place or institution you belong to, ..until you DON’T.

I left 20 years ago after a brother asked 1 rhetorical question from the stage : Is it in you, or are you in it? It hit hard and after 3 months of soul searching, I knew the answer. I knew I had to lose my family and "friends" to be able to find myself.

Thank you friend for another great video.. would love to share my fathers experience “” at 17 years old back in 1967 my father decided to get an education.. he was mocked saying the end was close but guess what he’s now 75 years old with a payed of house and a pention… he lives comfortably.. the young ones who mocked my father 55 years ago and went pioneering some of them are crying at age 75 they are working night shifts cleaning floors and live in a 400 sqf apartment in a basement with an electric pan to cook their meals…. They made that decision.. the question is who was the fool my dad for taking care of himself or his childhood friends who accused him of not having a sense of Urgency… please who ever reads this txt remember time in one directional soon we get old and believe me this organization will NOT take care of you….

Funny thing. My dad was a cement mason and had a big house. They were viewed as wealthy in the congregation. Broke sisters would make friends with my mom and always expect her to drive and pay for lunch. Many in the hall were pool cleaners, window washers, cleaners, etc. they never had enough.
