I was excommunicated because I didn't believe all their teachings. I won't come back, I have no desire to even if they change their doctrines because I think the worst thing is the authority they exercise over the faithful. I have remained a believer, I love God, I still enjoy sharing spiritual thoughts with others, that is enough for me.
I didn't take the same path as you but I very much agree with you in your analyses. I learn to learn from others. I learn to let myself be guided by my conscience, my “judgment”, I learn to be me. Thank you for all your advices. (I'm French - comment with Google translate)

This was me off and on since I was baptized. I was in and out and thought I would die. I got medicated for depression and did therapy and married a good Catholic. I love my life now and I never did before. Thank you for this video.

This was so helpful on so many levels. My partner is POMI but I am a nondenominational Christian. He has told me, without me even asking, that he is in it because of the love he feels. Obviously he doesn’t believe it’s all fake/conditional. When I went to visit him last weekend, I saw the “Return to Jehovah” brochure on his nightstand. Wondering what exactly he told them. Obviously my presence in his life is a big no-no given I’m not a Jw but a nondenominational Christian. He’s also had other challenges (not his fault) that left him feeling a lot of shame and embarrassment for which I can’t disclose the details of, but he keeps obsessing about his reputation and staining the reputation of the org. It’s so sad to me. He can’t see how much it’s hurting his mental health to be wrestling with this.

I never realized that I fall under this category. It has helped me to watch exJW content. I can clearly see now that the GB is nothing but a man made organization.

I am a POMI. But I just cant associate with the people due to gross slander and gossip. I shake with anxiety just going to a kingdom hall. I had to find a memorial that was not in a kh.
I try to disprove the witnesses idea that the trinity is not true or the hope but I am able to explain the arguments so I am left with being mentally in.

That's not what you need to disprove. The Trinity was a later church invention and the Hope is vague enough to be projected into the future, even though it was only meant to be for the Israelites in the promise land.
What you need to look at critically are the prophecies for the future. What are Bible scholars saying about the revelation verses. Are they for the Future, or were they for a specific time in the past? What is the real significance of 1914? Why do they get to that date? What is it based on? Does it have real archeology behind it?
Visit JWfacts. It is considered "apostate", but they site their sources for historical records and it's a incredible resource if you are looking for answers.
Also, if you're worried about apostate sources, ask yourself this. If the Witnesses have the Truth, and it's undeniable and based on facts, then why would it be so harmful to research using any source you find. Why would you have to limit where you look for answers. If a source you find is lying, then you can easily prove that using other sources.
Keep looking and researching and keep your mind open.

@@andrespadilla5274 no not mentally out. Because I defend the doctrines. They have truth. I have proven truth of doctrine and am willing to be patient and wait on Jehovah for things that must be adjusted. Rather than work against them I pray that where adjustments are needed that Jehovah moves them to make those adjustments.
Like I said Pomi. My hope is in Jehovah and not men.
