When Leon was alive, he lived across the street from my parents in Columbia,TN. We met out by the mailbox at the same time one day, and he took me back into his recording studio, and showed me all the 'toys" he had back there. I walked away with a stack full of CD's. Great guy! RIP

I had dinner at the table next to Leon at the diner across Woodward from the fox theater. He was entertaining his children as they finished eating I guess his wife was across the street getting ready for the show. Not wanting to interrupt his family time I just said to him "see you in a half hour leon" He looked me in the eye and said Thank you! What a great show it was.
