Small nitpick. I think Gow is ranked too high. He should be below a person like The Boulder. I took his use of hammers as being a crutch because he is below the skill of a traditional earth bender. He was also implied to be a very standard earth nation soldier so again, below an earth bender captain like the one who captured Iroh while bathing and therefore also likely below a top fighter in an Earth Bending wrestling federation like The Boulder

In the Last Airbender spirits where like high living beings superior than humans, in the Legend of Korra there are ugly plushies at best and generic monsters at worst.

Even though they had literally no scenes (which I actually see no point in adding them to season 1) I actually liked how Mai and Ty Lee portrayed their characters. Ty Lee is really good. And even though the actress of Mai looks nothing like her the hate towards her is so forced cause her voice tone and acting actually fits her

i agree with aang being the greatest airbender but i would also say that he is the most creative with the element, he really uses the element as a part of himself. His nature and personality is just like his element. i think thats what makes him the greatest airbender in history.

At the very end of ATLA, during the epilogue, it was revealed that Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors were trained to use Chi-Blocking from Ty-Lee, so it would be better to place her above Master Piandao, at that point Suki is basically equal to Ty-Lee in terms of raw combat ability lol.

I never really understood how even in the animated version Katara just became like master level so quick. Even before finding someone to really teach her she got really good. It is not like a terrible plot hole or anything, I guess it could be said she is just a natural. But it just feels like she did not earn her level of bending ability like people like Toph, Zuko, or Azula. I mean Aang obviously picks up on these things quick cause he is the avatar. By the end of season 2 and 3 I feel like Katara's power had scaled well, but it always just felt like she was a bit passed where she realistically should have been.

I understand most of your choices, though i think Katara belonged way lower. I just simply despised her portayal of Katara. It was pathetic lol. Half the time she was just standing in the background trying to look worried while the others did the fighting.

id personally put zuko in legendary. maybe in the show he wasnt portrayed to be the most powerful still, but goddamn dallas is just so fun to watch both acting and combat wise. id argue he s the actor who got to show off his athleticism the most in the show which made me always brace myself in anticipation whenever he s about to go into action

I think that Toph has a major disadvantage. Specifically jump, air attacks. Just imagine if someone were to jump and throw a rock at her, how is she supposed to see that?? That is the main issue with seismic sense I think, the inability to detect anything that is not directly touching the ground. If, for instance, Zaheer were to attack her whilst flying, I don't see a way she could defend herself and a lot of the benders ranked lower would likely do a better job IMO.

I personally think Tenzin even surpassed his father. He's just so clean and complete while fighting. in a fight with multiple enemies aang could rely on different elements, besided tenzin could not do it and became very impressive.

The only way to defeat Ty Lee is to catch her off guard, like when she was trying to teach Bosco how to hand walk.
