Yes nice...you are forgiven for being "not knowing better"!.. american tourists🤨😆 its called spezl ..eh, the eh is pronounced at the end - it is origionaly Swiss not Austrian, but is eaten in all germanic countries... at the belvedere market you were filming standing infront of a stand selling leberkäs...thats very Very Austrian, one of the most popular and famous traditional Austrian things. Its pork meat, mixed with spices and wheat...similar to a sausage but eaten in a slice, very tasty. Other markets have different food options...like pumpkin soup or potatoe rösti, or meat stew
Of course everyone as they like. There are probably also Austrians or Viennese who eat mayo with fries. But if you use cliches, then that's something that happens in Germany. They call it fries red-white there. But as I said, everyone should eat what they like 🙂
Since 1296 december markets in Vienna. So much tradition 🎄
I've been to Vienna but never at Christmas time, someday, on my bucket list, they are so beautiful!

Viennese never eat their Wiener Schnitzel with mayonnaise! That is a big difference between Austrians and Germans.
The mayo was actually for the fries. 😁
@trailblazinpeppers same with the fries 😂 never with mayo 😜
@@NinaVepReally!? That’s so interesting. 😮

@@trailblazinpeppers never Wiener Schnitzel with fries! It has to be "Erdäpfelsalat" which is "potato salad" 😇
