Hello, I have an issue when retrieving items. If my inventory is full, I can still pick up the item, but it is immediately destroyed and not added to the inventory, and I don't get the "No-Space" print. I have watched the entire tutorial twice to analyze my potential mistakes, but I can't figure it out. Can you help me?

Followed this guide and it works flawlessly on the UEFN mannequin. When I'm starting with my retargeted character it will switch to melee overlay state on my button press but the weapon mesh fails to load/equip. On a second press I can swap back to unarmed, and then on third press it will equip the weapon mesh and change state. I'm wondering if there is a good way of making this work on first press with the retarget character? Great tutorial, I'm still new so I only understood half of what I did :P

Thank you for these! This whole playlist is great. It has taught me a lot about data structures and tables, and I've been able to adapt a lot of it, making little changes here and there. It's intuitive. But as others have already said, I do hope you continue with this series, would love to see where else it can go. Like, maybe some inventory categories? This could make use of the "type" that was used in the enum and structs. Thanks again! ❤

4:15 A question: instead of using a select to give priority to DropItem if it is valid over the table data, isn't it better to do it from the beginning and put a branch in case of invalid data obtained from the table? I think this would optimize unnecessary calls to the table and save memory. (I'm trying to optimize any process, since I have inventory mobs (I'm making a monster catcher game)).
for some reason my melee overlaystate is default even though ive set the default state to unarmed, rewatched and cant see where i went wrong

a weird little bug.. the icons and the quantity doesn't show up on the ui tiles.. but if i restart the engine everything works fine but if i run it 2 times it doesn't work no more

Adding the Overlay state completely breaks every node.
I'm having problems with the replication on the equip. in standalone or listen server, the main client has no problems with the item being deleted and added to their inventory and equipping. in listen server, the 2nd client can add the item to the inventory but the item doesn't delete(previous video set the set owner on overlap, but this means the last actor to overlap with the item is the owner, not the one who picks it up) when i set the networking to client(no matter the number of clients) the item isn't deleted, nor equipped. unreal engine just updated today to 5.4.4 and i've just been going along with it, hoping that isn't the issue and that someone will know what the fix for this might be.
rotating along the yaw makes my character face-plant into the ground. Using pitch, he goes on his side. Is there any way to use Roll to rotate the root bone? Edit: see comment for solution
Here was my solution in case anyone has a similar problem: 1) in the "RotateRootBone" node, locate the options under the tab for "MeshToComponent", and set one of those values to 90 or -90. For me the Y value had to be set to 90. I also had to do this additional step: 2) before plugging in your "RootYawOffset" node, plug that into a "multiply" node and multiply by -1 to invert it, and then it works fine.
Hey there I have issue that I can’t fix since a couples of days.following your tutorial , but it seems that speed jogging is to fast , plus I can make work the crouch animation either any idea to fix that ?
Great video! I learned a lot, but I do notice that when I turn the camera sideways while I have the gun pointed, I notice that the movements are blurry and unnatural. Is there a way to smooth out the movements so that this doesn't happen?
Having a small little issue looked but its bugging me lol. When i press Q my backpack only shows the one slot. Its all set to 5 slots and 20 backpack. Any ideas what it could be? Your help would be appreciated. Im gone over the video twice. will have to do a 3rd but cant seem to find the issue.

Does anyone else have the issue of not seeing the inventory anymore after following this tutorial? I've rewatched it 3 times already and cannot tell what I have missed.
Just in case anyone has the same issue, it was because I forgot to re-add the create UI function to the execution pins in the ac_inventory after adding the is_player macro
