That button above the license plate to open the trunk on my 2012 doesn't work. I can hear a bit of noise though when I push it. I need to investigate that.

You mentioned about the manual latch. I had a co-workers dad passed away from being stuck in his vette. It was in Texas and it was hot inside. The dad and the dog passed. The dad did not know about the manual latch. That was the first thing I looked for when I bought mine and made sure it worked.

I love my car cause you don’t have to drive the piss out of it to have a blast driving it. The hi rev limit and the vtec make you work for it but once you figure it out it is very rewarding. I disagree about the over-steer. It absolutely will kick out if you’re not careful. I make about 19 mpg. I’m 6’2 1/2”, 205 and I fit just fine.

That's Great that you drive yours. I have a 2001 Conv. and have 280,000 +. Had things replaced that's normal. Paint, Interior, still in good shape. Keep driving.

sad cause all the guy who died had to do if he didnt know about the manual door latches was if it was a convertable unlatch his roof and push up on it or if it was targa top unlatch the piece and take it off and he would of lived
