Here is a documentary I had no idea existed until a few weeks ago. It wasn’t listed in any of David Attenborough’s filmographies, and I found the tape by accident while doing my weekly search on eBay. Needless to say, I jumped on it, bought it instantly, and updated my list and his filmography to include it. This is a fascinating documentary about European Storks, produced by the RSPB.The film was released on a VHS tape by the RSPB and distributed by WHSmith Exclusive Video, which, according to my information, appears to have been owned by the BBC at the time. It came as a double feature with another documentary called The Flamingo Triangle, narrated by Andrew Sachs, which I plan to also upload in the future.
The tape was transferred using VHS-Decode and restored in my usual fashion (de-interlacing, colour tweak, noise reduction etc...)

In Europe, the storks' elaborate bill - clattering display herald the arrival of spring. But in recent years fewer of these elegant birds have returned from Africa.
This film follows a family of storks in northern Germany and reveals the storks' secret lives and shows how humans are steadily changing their world.
