Never had any problem with Blackstar... I firstly bought an HT Metal, tube distortion pedal, which keep working 10 years later and is build like a tank! I then bought an ID Core 10 to pick with me when I give lessons, nice little amp for the price. I mean if you buy a 200$ amp you can't expect to have a 2K$ tube amp tone!! Blackstar is perfectly relevant with their prices, if you buy the high end stuff from them you have high end amplifiers like with any other manufacturer, I don't really understand the hate... Maybe a misurderstanding!?

Got the LTD-Arrow 1007B Evertune in October, for $400 and some sweet leaf, most fun purchase I’ve made that I would’ve never gotten if it wasn’t that deal, also sold me on Evertune, definitely gonna install them in other guitars. And yeah that’s not the Gary Holt guitar 😂😂😂

Saw him play live at 3 shows the past year and he was using this pedal at every show. The mxr. And sounded amazing . I saw him twice when he was using the fender and sounded the same . The key is not to keep things the same . Small tweaks on other parts of the gear makes it the same . I own all of them and they all can sound and act the same pretty much . The mxr pedal is awesome , I like mine witn a battery , carbon zinc or lithium / alkaline , don’t matter. Just seems to have less noise interference if you don’t use an ns-2 . But this pedal at full tilt (like he uses it ) 100% needs an ns-2 . I’ll use 9v adapter power then .. . Some amps it may not sound right with the ns-2 added , but it sounds great witn a Marshall. I’m sure that’s why he swears by it . Also this pedal with hs-3’s sounds amazing too . But with fury’s you can really tell the difference between the two and may need to adjust amp settings a bit . Or pedal settings. All in all , this pedal is amazing . Just like the fender , the 308, and the 250’s all his overdrive pedals are awesome. You really can’t go wrong with either . I recently tried a mikes mods version and he makes some amazing grey pedal sounding mods to the yellow and the 308 . Haven’t tried his fender mods one yet but yeah , I’m sure there will be modded version of this mxr one out soon. A pedal can always be modded to be better or “different “ . If you are on the fence , don’t be , Snag one of these asap. Highly worth the $. I don’t even use my fender one anymore . This one is basically the same like the others but seems to have more clarity. Super liquid sounding leads . . They all are very close to one another . Great pedals when being used right with proper set ups , equipment and set up right . And you don’t just get yjm sounds out if this. It can be used for so many styles of music. It’s a great bluesy slight dirt pedal to a killer searing liquidy lead , or crunchy metal rhythms . You are not gonna play djent or modern metal witn this but it covers a lot of other styles just fine

More information please. Does it have inscribed the cursed words "MADE IN CHINA"? Or is it made in a slightly less odious sheet hole? What does it weight? It looks lighter and thinner than my Spector Rex 5 or real Gibson Explorer bass. Both are heavy bar stewards. The big downer is that it's does not have active pickups or circuitry. It's just dead in the water when compared with any modern Spector, Dingwall or (at the moment very niche) Alusonic "THE DOOM". So it's really competing with the cheap end of the market LTD or B C Rich metal monsters (anything cheaper and your just buying fire wood). Looks good from a distance but wouldn't waste it on a vintage Marshall bass stack. This is the first video on your chanel that I've watched so I presume you record everything though an emulator. Please stop and use real amps and cabs. Digital cannot replace the sound of valves through 4x12 cabs(or 2x15, 4x10 8x10 etc..). Finally. The meanest, dirtiest metal bass in existence is the Gibson Blackbird! Even without actives it kicks your feckin' arse and looks better than any spiky pretender. N.B. All brands mentioned are owned and well played so I knows what I knows!

I don’t buy them anymore because of the price given where they’re being made. For the repairing, almost none of the them is by any tech. Own the SC20H and it’s not all MIUK but it’s repairable by most if it ever breaks on me. It’s been 5 years since though having it.

I bought a spark mini and looooove it, granted I’ve only been playing about a year but it’s done the job well as it gets me playing often for the tone freedom.

I’ve had an array of BStars and the problem for me has always been the lack of pre-amp tubes… bet this one has no more than two in it either. BS uses a transistor push/pull pair to otherwise do what a 3rd or 4th 12AX7 would do, the problem this causes becomes apparent when trying to use pedals in front of the BS amps. They just don’t take pedals very well, other than that, they are fun, but on the dark side.

For Christmas I got an EVH 5150 III el34 100 watt head for 1125.00. It came with the box, packaging and the footswitch. It’s a 9.5 out 10 condition. I absolutely scored on that thing.
