The reason for pedal tuners in one of the products you judged is simple. It's the band/live context that lets tuning pedals shine. Tuning pedals detect pitch by pickups alone, rendering drummers impossible to interrupt your tuning. But also, the pedals have bright colors to see out in the dark if you're about to perform while in the dark.
Purchase no. 3 is mine! I'm gonna make a SERIOUS mod project out of it. Once I'm done with it, it'll have a completely different color and finish, matching neck and headstock, reshaped headstock, LEDs, a filled in neck pickup slot, and more. It's gonna look so. freaking. cool. Also, the beast shape is so underrated. It's a shame it's so neglected by BC Rich themselves. Thank goodness Thomann has one.
The Ibanez 7 strings actually has a very unusual Dimarzio PAF7 pickups. I've got this exactly guitar and the sound of these completely blowed me out! We are so used to super high output, modern pickups on 7 strings, but at the end these ones sold me out and now I'm having vintage-PAF like humbuckers on all my guitars lol
Anybody that gets butt hurt over you roasting there purchase get over it and just laugh along with us it makes the world a nicer place to live for us all.
While I will agree that Boss pedals are very much the "plain" or "basic" version of whatever effect the pedal happens to be, you can't argue with their near-indestructible build quality. They have such wide market distribution that you can pretty much depend on getting a replacement in a hurry almost anywhere, and there's practically no variation unit to unit. Boss might not be glamorous or have fancy sounds and functions, but they're the absolute hero of many touring effects boards (especially in less than optimal locations, where grubby beer soaked hands are everywhere).
This jaw harp is not good quality, at least it's cheap. I've been considering this Harley Benton BC Rich clone too, I only wish it had the headstock with horns. I have a 30 euro HB ukulele and it's good - loud and intonated. Boss pedals are reliable - I've had other pedals break jacks and switches, but never Boss. I love the large Jazz III XL - less string noise sounds the best for me. I've heard Marshall MGs sounding good trough external cabinet with nice speakers, so I think the built-in speaker is bad, but the amp is decent. :)
Those Hercules grab stands are actually super solid, I've got a few of them here, as well as the 5-rack (expanded to 10) - can't complain about the quality
Paul Gilbert wrote the song Vibrato with an electric kazoo he put through his guitar rig. Not sure if it made it into the final song, I think it might be what's playing along to the singing
Thanks for not blasting by gator grip picks - they're tortex improved...if you like regular tortex but they get slippery after 5 minutes, gator grips are for you. The matte finish is just enough to keep your grip good even when sweaty and never polishes. They make the gator grips in several shapes; I use standard shape - the corners wear off before the grip does lol I am actually considering getting one of those pick sharpeners/shavers so I can reform the round points as the picks are still good to go...
@@sevenstringtv yep, overall an amazing guitar. I've had it for 2 or 3 years now. Just missing the locking tuners to feel 100% premium. And these PAF7 - oh my god, so much clarity and definition.
Do some gear shopping to appear in a future episode:

honestly that was probably a music teacher, who knows maybe the kids will do a rendition of raining blood on the "jew harp"

I have multiple pedal tuners myself. I said I don't know if this particular one is any good
The Rusty Cooley 7 string video was sick bro
The 7 string is awesome and has DiMarzio pickups!
I love these. It's all good fun, nobody should be mad if you roast their purchase. I roast my own all the time.
That's too funny, I bought some stuff at Sweetwater through your link on Friday
Sadly can't see what was purchased through there so that's a bummer, but thank you anyway 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@sevenstringtv I most certainly will. 🤘

Boss is definitely the bread and butter of guitar pedals, I just prefer PB&J
Keep this up, lovely series.
the pedal tuner works fine. will invest in some better patch cables though

I just got some Dunlop Max Grip picks, they have like a diamond texture on them, they don't slip out of my sweaty hand.
Wait. You make money on your own affiliate links?! How tf?! 🤯😱🤘🏻😎🎸
I just order through them and get the 4,5% back hahah
Love this series
I have one of those ibanez 7 strings, they have dimarzios actually very good deal.
The Ibanez has DiMarzio PAF7's, mate ;)
Really?! For 799€?
That's some damn good value. Any Jackson under like 1K has Jackson brand pickups

'Into the storm of steel' by Angelcorpse..on the jew harp.
Dongyeyeyeyeyaw
Complains about Boss pedals being boring
Uses TS as his main OD pedal
I usually blend it with an Yngwie signature or my beetronics Nectar in Fuzz mode.
Exciting enough?
@@sevenstringtv lol,, very nice :)
How would you feel when forced to go back to the country of your parents?
???
Clave is usually pronounced “Kla-vey”, but this is a little pedantic.
In case you needed more proof that I've got no idea what they are
