This review is spot on. I am not an actual drummer but have had these for about a month now and am having a blast! I really like how you set up the camera to get video showing your footwork as well as the sticks. And yes, you will need to recalibrate or just shift your position ever so slightly from time to time. BUT…the fact is, as stated in the video, these are not intended to be, nor are they advertised as, any type of replacement for an actual drum kit. In the end, if you stop and think about what they can actually do, they’re really quite amazing and pretty dang cool. Thanks for your time Jason, and just let the haters hate. 😀
I found they were good for slow songs but as I say they are far from perfect but fun when they work. I didn’t have calibration issues as such, it was more as the stick rotated in my grip is would trigger the wrong sound giving me the need to recalibrate.
"Aeroband have asked i dont say anything specific" Straight away i'm annoyed because you could just be honest and say "the contract says they'll sue me if im honest about it" If i were you I'd send them back and cut ties. Trust me. A lot of youtubers have mislead a lot of people with this product...
I felt my review was honest. I mentioned that they aren’t perfect and do miss trigger. Better for slower songs for sure and good for fun but not as a drum replacement. I don’t feel I could be more honest than that within the limits.
@JasonSayersDrums I get it, it just infuriates me that other youtubers have literally dubbed over theirs with their own drums to promote them and it drives me insane. At least you haven't done that 🙏 It's just been so falsely advertised elsewhere by well established musicians on youtube and it makes me so angry

It really is a crazy piece of technology that needed to be seen and heard to believe it. They are super fun when you get used to them.

They're absolute garbage. Company needs suing. The only ones that actually do work is Aerodrums (which aeroband created itself to confuse people with)
