I tried the sony 3D pulse but I didn't like them, neither for sound (little bass), nor for comfort. I'm undecided between Steelseries 7p +, steelseries 9 and Razer Blackshark V2 Pro? I don't care about Bluetooth, the important thing is comfort, sound and ease of use, what do you recommend?
You won't have trouble with none of those headsets when it comes to comfort, for ease of use tho, we recommend the steelseries 7p+. It's optimized for Playstation, has it's own set of sound presets for competitive gaming and entertainment, Has 10 bandwidth equalizer to play with, just like the SteelSeries 9 and Razer BlackShark V2 pro. And it's has the updated USB Type-C changing port. The other 2 headsets still have the old Micro USB Charging port.

Same here. Had the Gen 2 since 2015 and Gen 3 since 2017. Awesome headsets, but their just not fully compatible with the ps5. I managed to get the 7p+ at launch as you said with exception to the USB C and 30 hour battery exact same the difference I found was the eq had 10 bandz vs 6 on the 7p I do have both other than that man graat video maybe share your eq settings for the arctis 9 for vanguard as I think the eq would be very similar on the 7p+
Great review. I also got the 7p+ and the 30 hour battery life and USB-C is nice to have. Don’t have to change out charging cables as much lol have to use a PC settings to change EQ settings to fine tune it for Vanguard. Hearing footsteps is much easier once you change ‘em.
I'm stuck debating between the arctis 9 and TB 700 gen 2. Arctis 9 would have been an easy choice for me but the micro usb and the bad mic quality from other tests I've listened too really kinda bothers me. Have you guys used the mic at all, how does it sound to you and others? And I'm afraid a 9+ refresh is just around the corner cuz the 7p got a 7p+ update.
What did you end up with? I would recommend the TB 700 gen 2 max all day. I like them Better than the steel series 7p and the brand new Astro a30’s and the hyper X cloud alpha
@@Jeff_Sigmon I had actually bought both lol but I returned the TB one because windows volume control wouldn't work with the multimedia keys on my keyboard. But the TB did sound much better than the Arctis 9. However I have upgraded to the Arctus nova pro wireless that got releases a few months ago and this headset is incredible and can't be beat.

Hyper X for sure the 7p+ is disappointing to be honest , they lack low end or any type of punch , I’d say go with the Hyper and even the Blackshark v2 pro wireless

7P+ eq settings. Drop the first slider down to 1.5 if you need to hear the footsteps better.
