Our channel "specializes" in the spoken-word of Elvis Presley; we have collected all known Elvis interviews, press conferences and public speeches under a playlist ("Elvis - In His Own Words"), and YT as a platform allows them to be more widely heard and seen in general than what they often are. Elvis rarely gave interviews and press conferences but some of them reveal an interesting, deeper side of him that is even more rarely seen.
Browse through hours of Elvis' views of the world, his music and his career - and everything in between.

Elvis "monologue"; August 22, 1969 - Las Vegas, Nevada
Переглядів 43 тис.10 років тому
A staple during this particular Vegas stand but in general, a rare occurance - Elvis sharing his "life story" during the dinner show on August 22nd, 1969. No major revelations as such but Elvis rarely talked about his life in public, much less during his shows but when he returned to live performances in August 1969 he added a "monologue" to the set list - going through his side of the story he...
Elvis speech; January 16, 1971 - Memphis, Tennessee

One of the very few public 'speeches' Elvis ever gave, but one of the proudest moments of his career - the "Jaycees" speech from January 16, 1971; he was elected as "one of the outstanding you men of 1970". Elvis rarely gave any speeches, much less attended award ceremonies so the fact that he accepted the Jaycees award in person, gave a little speech, attended many events surrounding it (the l...

Possibly the most famous interview/press conference Elvis ever gave - the one he did on June 9th '72, only hours before he opened his three-day, four-show stay at the world famous Madison Square Garden. Elvis met with the NY media at the local Hilton, and from there went back to rehearsals before finally facing the tough NY crowd the same day... The clip is compiled from multiple different sour...

The longer one of the two very intimate interviews Pierre Adidge & Robert Abel did with Elvis for the 1972 film "Elvis On Tour" - sadly only small snippets were used in the final product. The exact date or location of this interview isn't known but it was done sometime after Elvis' June tour but before his return to Las Vegas in early August, most likely in Los Angeles around July '72.

The known footage of the "newsreel interview" compiled together - this was essentially a "best of" of the press conference Elvis held upon his arrival to the Brooklyn Army Terminal the same day a while earlier. It was done to get some 'moving pictures' of Elvis to show in the news before he headed for Germany. Parts of the interview (audio) was released on the "Elvis Sails" EP (EPA-4325) in Nov...

TCB ✝️
So high, so overworked.
How was he high? Seems normal and his natural self, to me. He'd just stepped off the plane from a month's stint in Vegas. This is in the airport terminal, he had a virus here and is still coherent and good humoured.
we miss you, elvis
Looooooaded
He looked high af
he was on his game in 70, looked good, changed his style of music, what he wore on stage, he was and still is THE KING!!
He’s sick. It’s obvious he needs rest and recuperation time.
Yes, he had a virus here and he played with pnuemonia more than once. People saying he looked high, but seems his normal self to me.
He’s definitely looking forward to another line.
He is stoned out of his mind
He didn't smoke ganja.
There's Something About [Elvis] ...
It was rare certainty back then to somebody as famous and as influencial as Elvis was/is and have such a sense of humour..if he some good people around him he should of lived to ripe old age but still what a legacy 👍🏴🏴
Sex, money, drugs, fame, etc, and other worldly things don’t work, always fade. Never hav never will. God/Christ only way. Only One defeated death and the world, as predicted - Christ. God help me, help us all, now more than ever. It’s on His time tho, not ours. Prayers for patience, calm. HIS will will be done. Peace and prayers to all reading this.
You could say that no-one has ever been more corrupted and soul- destroyed by wealth and fame than Presley. From the innocent likeable talented teenager to to the gross self-centred opportunist he demonstrates perfectly the self-destructive core of show business.
A pill.popper with legal drugs Just as lethal as the.illegal ones
Elvis was always sincere and loving. He was charismatic and his music was beautiful just like Elvis was. Loved all his music. ❤
It’s sad Elvis was drugged out here Colonel Parker was a horrible person just used Elvis
Looks like he needs a nice sleep
Such a beautiful soul inside and out, Love him always❤️👑🔥
This is after his Satellite concert and before Madison square garden concerts . Elvis Looking good in 1972 and a terrific year for the iconic star.
Best mutton chop ‘burns in the biz.
The most beautiful man inside and out and the best entertainer and showman of all time. Still the King of rock and roll.
As hora entiendo porque no tienes un sólo me gusta...
No debes hacer un video de Elvis solo con una foto. No manches.. Elvis no lo merece
Él siempre es súper caballero. Un hombre maravilloso.. un hombre como jamás hubo otro
They were all backstabers they all wanted something from.himthey never loved him for him they wanted what they could get of him thats not Friends and i think he knew that himself cars hoses money
He was way high
Don King and the Colonel were bosom buddies, be it Elvis or Tyson, their victims were used and abused!!!
He was a musical genius! He produced his own records, he would have sang and produced more music except Parker kept them away from Elvis as well as good movie scripts
Vancouver Canada! my nana pat was at that concert she raved about it lol to me years later! i couldn’t even imagine what it was like ❤🎉😂
New world order fatigue nys mob small group big crimes huge narcissism. Crimes to kids.
I'm always amazed at the STUPID questions reporters ask. Also, I wonder what input he actually had into the direction of his career. Seems Parker told him what he was going to do. If ONLY he'd fired Parker years before he passed - for one getting someone who didn't grift off him as much.
"Takes at least 4-5 hours to wind down.." no shit..hard to sleep when ur tweaking ur tits off🥳
What a different & better world it was in 1957. What would Elvis think of today's world ?
Colonel probs wasn’t there so he could be more himself without being censored by him as he would have asked for a lot of money before he would let Elvis speak to anyone . His cash cow

Loved Elvis since I was a kid
Elvis was so down to earth - so unlike today's celebrities who are so full of themselves.
They could have given him some water to drink!
Died way toooooo young!! 😢
He was impressively grounded for such a young man. I’m a lifelong fan…since 1956. I never saw him in person and very much regret that.
The colonel said "if you going to see Elvis you were going to PAY to see him." It's true. I've been a fan since 1956 and you only saw him when he really became famous in a movie, then concert yrs. All the pictures fans had made an with the internet can be seen WOW It's so interesting to see and here Elvis's family share stories about him is so interesting and enjoyable about his mysterious life.😊
英語で話す🏅👑Elvis👑🏅ですが私は日本人ですが【いつも側に居てくれると感じます】🇺🇸🇯🇵🇺🇸🇯🇵🇺🇸
Elvis had pretty decent insight. I dont think theres ever been a more fan focused star. He never forgot his roots or the people that got him there.
Elvis should have dumped the so-called colonel. Under better management his music career would have gone even further; in my opinion. He should have been touring overseas (Europe, Asia).
He tried. Nobody else would engage with Elvis's guys without the colonel. He had him cornered
Great beauty.❤❤❤💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏😥😥😥
Amazing guy. Too bad he got mixed up with drugs and the crimin…I mean the colonel.
ME ENCANTA OIR HABLAR A ELVIS Y ENTENDER LO QUE DICE GRACIAS A LOS SUBTITULOS DE UA-cam. ES HERMOSO HASTA CUANDO HABLA. ESA TOS ERA ALÉRGICA POR ESO LE DABAN UN MEDICAMENTO (QUE AHORA NO RECUERDO EL NOMBRE) QUE TOMANDO CONTÍNUAMENTE PRODUCE HINCHAZÓN ABDOMINAL Y EN LA CARA COMO VIMOS A NUESTRO ELVIS EL CAMBIO FÍSICO QUE TUVO. SI OBSERVAMOS BIEN EN FOTOS Y VIDEOS POSTERIORES SOBRETODO DEL 76 Y 77 SUS BRAZOS Y SUS PIERNAS ERAN DELGADAS. ASI ES COMO SE MANIFIESTA ESTE MEDICAMENTO. NO ERA TODO POR COMER. AQUÍ ESTÁ FANTÁSTICO. A MI COMO FAN DE ELVIS SU CAMBIO FÍSICO NO ME AFECTÓ PARA NADA.
Ive never heard this interview before. I love that he doesnt shy away from answering honestly. He was insightful for a man who was fairly sheltered and never lived away frkm hole except for the army. He was raised well, his manners were perhaps even more beautiful than his angelic face and voice ❤
Elvis didn’t gyrate!!!
