What program is this ?
Very cool. Doing a restoration of a CL350, thinking of doing this very thing now.
Cool vid. Thanks for posting.
Great idea using grub screws so you can adjust the stops if you change the angle of the clip-ons. Sure beats welding on a small metal blank which I've done in the past. Love these how-to videos Kyle!
Where in the bio to win? I’m trying win, brother!🎉

Could mill off the mirror perch and chop the lever(s)?
@@ximan09 that’s a great idea milling the mirror attachment off let me know if you try it. I think it would probably take a little bit of blending but wouldn’t be tough. I’ve shortened the levers and polished them up before, OEM is way too long and you don’t need that much throw to stop the bike. 👊🏻
Can you do a video on how to do a duel disk brake setup and keeping the original speedo gear drive? That would be amazing.
Thanks for this video. I am doing the same for my CB550K3. I guess I need to get myself one of those polishing wheels.
Good work man glad to see people enjoying these bikes still you got my follow
@@peterdunn6693 thanks Peter 👊🏻
Dude this thing is sick. Love the color and design. Great work🤙
@@HiHootie thanks man!
Greit tip! How long was your grub screw?
Ya, would love to see you work on a master cylinder - thnx for these vids!
looking forward to the master cylinder video!! Great restore video. is that without clear coating them?
That was impormative.,., 👍🏻 thanks,.,,.
Glad it was helpful!👊🏻
I didnt know this when i bought my bike. The bloke didnt tell me and the headlight bracket hit the tank 😢 Definitely gonna do this, great idea and execution!
@@ArcticNightwind yea man it sucks when it happens! This should fix it. 👊🏻
Do you clear coat the parts when you’re finished?
I wouldn't. Clear coats eventually get worn in that area of the bike and start peeling. Plus, clear coat does not generally want to adhere to it because of the polishing compound is in the pores of the aluminum.
I was a bit shocked at how bad these brakes are at stopping the bike when I got my 550.
They are indeed rubbish. Particularly when you have a leaking fork leg seal which seems to run straight on to the pads
Cool vid as usual. Gotta say though, most annoying music ever, 🤣. I had to mute it. Anyway, customizing is what it is all about. It's cool you showed it can be done without a lot of high dollar fancy tools. Patience helps, too. Keep the vids coming.
I know, haters gonna hate. But it needs to be said. It's a really dumb idea. You do realize what that thing does, don't you? You have whittled it away to nothing. I have seen them break on dirt bikes before and it's not a good look. Like you say at the end of the video, they are only cast aluminium.
@@kepamurray1845 it’s not. There is still more than enough clamp left for it to fine and strong.
👍👏👏👏♥️
What are the odds? I’m in the same stage for my custom KZ550. I’m keeping the bar clamps so I didn’t need to cut anything, just sandblasted and wire wheeled because I love the brushed look too. I’m curious for your next videos on how to tackle the gauges because that’s my next step!
Really great process video! Thanks for sharing
Try changing the angle of your grip. You will have an easier time hanging off. Otherwise looking good. Aftermarket clip ons is a good investment.
🙏
Super nice !
this is so fu**ing vague and got 65k view. Ridiculous. Next, I know that you probably do not do it right and it has something to do with chemistry. Ah, ok. 64 k view and 42 comment. You forget to buy comments dude.
Any update yet
Very nice Mate! Did you do it already? I mean the 3d printing. Can you send me this fearing modell if its possible?

Great looking bike mate, cool colour.

This is cool man! Now I'm considering going back to college for Mech E lol

What Ohlins suspension did you use in the back?
Looks great…nice craftsmanship!!
What about the fishtail exhaust!? Where'd you get it from, I'm looking for something similar. Sick chopper! thanks
What brand shocks? I got same bike
Nice 👍.
Love the vid! Do you have a pdf or dimensions for the starting shape you used? Trying to figure out dimensions for something similar on mine and cant for the life of me wrap my head around it for some reason
When will you release the custom design?
