You sound like a person who collects comics as an investment. It’s either that you want to own the comic to own forever or you get your comics graded to resell in the future. I guarantee that anyone who gets their comics graded are doing so to sell them in future.

Here's a tip if you can't see a book clearly. For instance at 14:28 where you have a long comic box between you and the wall. Or like in that crappy shop where they're near the ceiling. Take you phone and zoom the image. You can also take a picture and zoom into that. I do this all the time and it works great.

Ive had Kevin Eastman sign tons of stuff. None ofbit graded cuz its just for me my private collection. Will end up going to somebody when i die.

I read this series. It's pretty good. I like this type of plot. The interior art is ok and the story was intriguing.

120K comics in my collection, not a single slab. I read them, then bag and board them. I have had this argument in the collecting community countless times. Only time I could see slabbing a comic would be to preserve some EXTREMELY valuable blue chip books like an AF 15. Otherwise you are not into comics, you are into profit, which is totally fine, but I just dont get it myself.

Private co. can do want, but you don't have to get it graded by them then, This is why I don't buy records at Walmart. If this bothers you and comics with nudity are rejected, what tell me, I am not listening to propaganda unsubscribed.

And yet CGC is doing pretty good with graded copies of Sports Illustrated. Everything is cyclical.

Sticky Goose,you a dentist so you should be able to get just about any comic you want cause dentist making a ton. I don't care what anyone says about you cause you got it going on.

Not that I needed another reason to never support the CGC scam. But now I have one.

We’re in a bad economy. That’s it. Nothing to do with grading. People don’t have excess cash for comics let alone expensive ones.

These comics are a lot way too much for a lil comic book esp with how oversaturated the superhero market is with marvel crap etc,,I know not all comics are superhero related or whatever but lots are bored with that stuff!

For me there's only two grades regarding comic books; "Carelessly read", or "Warily read". Only comics that's been warily read are welcomed into my collection.

I enjoy your videos. Sorry you had to deal with a creep like this. Like you I expected something like that with so many UA-camrs attacking you. They cannot create good comic content so they resort to threats. Keep your family safe. My dad was an oral surgeon so I can appreciate where you are coming from.

31 year old collector here. Your analytics are spot on. Whenever I go to a local con or a busy shop the majority age group are around 45-55 y/o maybe a few around my age group in their 30s but i rarely see any kids/teens go to these cons just to collect comics. However if you go to a card show one time you will see alot more kids and teens getting into pokemon or sports card collecting instead which if you ask me is just as expensive as comic books. Beside the card collecting, video games are where kids/teens are spending a majority of their money and parents money.

You missed Beuller, Gem Mint and don't get me started on "Economics in Comics".. Oh Billy.

It's are not for making a Investment. Comics isn't great investment.

They aren't interested in grading any Political Comics Now. Before they would but just not at this moment in society. That comic looks lame and it probably not going to be worth anything.

Wow! I have most of these in my collection. They're raw though. I never knew anybody wanted them at those prices. Maybe it's time to cash out.

The comic book subculture is full of strange creatures. The ranting shop owner fits the stereotype perfectly. Grotesque, disgusting hygiene, probably never had a date in his life, and lives in a fantasy bubble inhabited by cartoon creations.
