UA-cam ad placement is funny. “When you first start reading this book, you instant feel like -“ “-we’re decorating each other’s homes from goods at Michael’s!”
Have to agree. Not sure what Sticky is seeing but i'm NOT seeing art that makes me want to pick up this comic book. Thats a shame. Im sure Tom and Ryan have some original writing ideas, but i wouldnt spend a penny on the art. Turned me off from spending any money on it just from the images i see here.
Really enjoy your incisive and fair review content! Would be awesome to see you review some of the real classic runs like Alan Moore's Swamp Thing - stuff you could absolutely take a deep dive into
Yep Lost and Aliens, some of my favorite stuff also. You may have just sold me on getting a set of these books...I assumed it would take place in space also. I'm intrigued about it actually being a Crashdown, the name makes more sense now. I really like how this book was colored.
A lot of people like Templesmith's art, and I hear the guy is cool in real life. But I honestly hate his art. I hate it. LOL. I haven't read the series, but thanks for the honest review.
I've personally read every issue as it came out and sorry man, it's dogshit. The art is terrible (Templesmith can do better), the plot is unoriginal, the characters aren't really interesting at all. Books like this one get pumped out by the dozen every years, usually by new creators you'll never hear of ever again. Fortunately, Tom is willing to do more stories and improve, I hope he only improves with each additional project.
Hi! While I’m not a fan of the comic book, I enjoyed your review video a lot! You come across as someone who is genuine and also have a lot of depth and insight to share. Would love to see you do a review of Insanity by another comic creator if this video is well received!
18.00 bucks too much !! Tom is jus a salesman u can keep that dude he had a platform that’s why the book is there if it was jus a reg dude it would be in the e trash !!! U kno it’s true
Comic Tom is a joke guys like him ruin the hobby by pushing overpriced comics as investments that eventually become worthless. Maybe a few hold value but really look up 1990s comics how that worked out for all the different covers and special this or that. Only the A cover is the one people in the future want and onky if it’s a key. Other covers only like say an Artist that is awesome like Lee Batman 608 /nd print but these are rare. Buy for enjoyment not for investment. Buy stocks instead
My LCS put out a few cardboard boxes full of 90s Valiant back issues the week before last, free for anyone to take as many as they wanted. Seems he bought like 20-25 long boxes from someone offloading their entire collection. He said more than almost any other books, NO ONE wants the old Valiant stuff, to the point he can barely give it away. These were the hottest comics for a good run back in the 90s Wizard speculator days, and now you can barely give them away for free
@ hard disagree. With the exception of The Iron Claw, A24 films are made by people who think their shit doesn’t stink and think they’re smarter/more sophisticated than the viewer. They think their films are edgy and make you think, but in reality they’re just a waste of time. Heretic was the final straw. Never watching an A24 film again.
I wish I had comic Tom audience so my comic could get reviewed by sticky goose. I wish comic UA-camrs would be willing to review or promote indie books from their fans. I mean how cool would it be if ComicTom and Swaglehuss both indie creators put together a con for indie creators. They get Kickstarter funds but if they could help others do the same (just a mention) that would be great.
I am a Stickygoose guy but my fat wife is a Comic Tom gal. We fight all the time.

ComicTom should get a career at QVC or the Home Shopping Network. 😂
"He's one of the first ones to watch my IG stories" 😂
Im sure the story is decent but with that art style, I'm out
100%. I’ve taken shits that look more appealing than this art style.

30 days of Night is a badass book. Sticky Goose For president !!
5:03 saying Lost is good made me like this video. 😂
Crashdown makes for a good toilet paper.
Is it bad?
Don’t know why there is so much hate in the comments. I’ve heard a few reviews of this book and everyone says it great.
Great review. Never heard of this comic before, definitely going to check it out

I don't watch this channel for book reviews.
I read this series. It's pretty good. I like this type of plot. The interior art is ok and the story was intriguing.
I read the first issue and was like I'm out
