I obviously prefer the 120 cause its what Ghostface Uses and Im proud that I got the Same Knife as his

I needed a pocket knife so bought a Buck Nobleman 327 and returned it after two days for a Buck 112 slim in OD. The 327 had a right hand only opening stud, was stiff, the clip was intrusive, the steel was 440 A not 420 HC as was advertised. The 112 solved all that- I removed the clip so it lies flat in my pocket, great grip on the handle, practical blade length, two opening studs, solid build. The 110 is more of a hunting knife than a pocket utility knife. This is the Goldilocks knife. Very happy with it.

How good is it actually for bushcraft? I know buck typically makes hunting knives, but if I don't intend on hunting, then would it still be worth it for the style of the knife? I just wouldn't want to break or otherwise damage it.

Our once beautiful scenic walk has become a drug-addled, homeless encampment!!! You’d be crazy to walk it without a weapon on your belt . Sad times!

Good review of the 112 Ranger. I recently purchased this model as a replacement for a JA Henckels model HK0135 folding, locking blade knife about the same size but with a larger more drop point blade. I am impressed with the quality and design of the Buck 112. Liked and subscribed to your channel

That handle is just to thick to grip comfortably

One thing you didn't mention but I noticed in having both; the handle on the 120 is thinner than that on the 119. Look at the pommel (end cap) and it becomes quite obvious. Pick both of them up and you can feel the difference.

I love all my buck knives and I have alot, according to my wife I have to many. If she only knew how many knives (different brands like case, old timer, uncle henry, schrade etc.) I actually have.😂

Beast knife, ive got the 124, 120 & a 118 my favorite buck ive got is my buck kalinga, it has an inverted stamp it's from the 60s. I found it at a yard sale many years ago. I paid $20 for it

I will tell you the story.... God so wanted the world to have'ith a folding knife of high quality.... so he be give'ith the world the 110. Praise the 110, for it is righteous to do so.

My parents gave me a 124 back in the 1970s they had it in grave with my name in the date on it I gifted it to my son who has the same name as me that's an heirloom for him to cherish but now I want it back so I think I'm going to buy another one I'm a big fan of the 119 and the 120 but the 124 is the king

IMHO best my knife, steel is perfect! I have 119 model.

Although i enjoy watching videos of this type, here in the UK 🇬🇧 we must be very careful of what you carry on your person , even if and hopefully never " joe Lowlife " attacks you must keep edc in your hand and your hand in your pocket, possibly offer them a cup of tea to calm the situation down 😂 have a great day 🇬🇧 .

I've had my BK9 for about a year now. Its not a bad blade, a bit on the light side for serious chopping. This is because the handle, under the scales has been skentonized. I.E. some of the metal of the tang has been removed. So is it full tang, that's up to you to decide. But, I don't think it qualifies. So I will never use the BK9 to split wood, and only chop light brush, and in self defense if needed. P.S. I'm glad you know about what is under the handle scales.

I have the 124 , but prefer the buck 120 or 119 . I got my new buck 124 and removed knife scales and made new ones that fit my hand better . But , don’t use it much . I do a lot of hiking , camping and hunting . The buck 124 is a heavy knife . I am not to worried about full tang or rat tail tang the goes to the pommel of the knife . I have abused my 120 for around 45 years or more and still going strong . The buck 124 would make a good truck knife .

That's what we used to call "grandpa old pocket knife" It was a pretty one intimidating

I have a 119 from 210 with the limited rosewood grips and brass metalwork. They have really stepped up their beautiful knives.

Stone for big stuff, and an old gerber hone steel to fine my edges

Flitz works great on the whole knife.

Easiest way to clean the brass, if you keep up with it, is a brass instrument cleaning cloth. 2 sided. One impregnated with a cleanser, one side for buffing. Easy. If you have to use Brasso, use the cotton batting they make, impregnated with a cleaner. So much easier.

Buck leather sheaths are known to cause the green tarnish. I can leave one sitting in a draw for years without this happening. But if I put it in its leather sheath, it will oxidize and turn green in just weeks.

Can you clean the blade using brasso as well??

I have an old Ontario SP3-95. It is so similar (handle, sheath,...), almost like it is produced in the same factory....

probably you should indicate on screen which is 110 and which is 112. I don't know which is which.

You know I love my 110, however be careful with the 722 Spitfire, impossible to open one handed, to close it the locking bar catches, very exasperated. Got it for my birthday so couldn't check it out before it was bought.

Just got mine today from Buck it came in that box nice . Great knife love mine. Now I have 7 bucks. The 124 is the best looking one so far all I need now is the 120 General thanks

I like the fact that the Buck family are Christian and that speaks in the quality of their knives which are tools, not weapons. And Scream is stupid, made absolutely no sense, and don't care for it. I bought this knife because I never bought a 120 before and it reminds me of a Ka-Bar.
