The one thing this knife REALLY gets right is the handle/grip. The full tang and the rubberized ergos are amazing. It's not an amazing knife for its steel, but for its overall utility. For the sub $15 price, wow!
Stone for big stuff, and an old gerber hone steel to fine my edges
I love this knife haven't been disappointed yet i use the smith's hand held sharpener and i keep it on my belt 24/7 better safe than sorry 🦅🇺🇲🦅🤘 from Western Kentucky

Awesome budget knife......great to whittle, carve and feather. Pleasantly surprised by its performance.... steel seems to be hardened very well

Can u use this just for cutting vegetables and steak for camping? I bought this for wood chips fir fire or cooking. I'm a prepper but not any knowledge about knives. Money tight. I want a food prep knife..a knife to make fires,a self defense...a machete and a nada or hatchet for splitting small wood fir fire. I bought the famous cheapo machete /saw at harbor freight..heavy feels solid... really want a game boy by silky and nada but cannot afford. Any input would be appreciated! Thank you for your review! I'll keep this one..

I have this Camillus knife. I like it. I have some other knives, too, but this Camillus is my most frequently used knife. It is perfect for cutting steak or any meat (flesh...). Most probably good for cutting vegetables as well, however this is just an opinion, because I follow the (raw) Carnivore diet, that is, I eat only and exclusively meat, no any weeds (=vegetables). Anyway, I am happy with this knife, I use it each and every day.
