If Elon Musk, Leonardo Davinci, Bill Gates, Marie Curie, Wright Brothers, Albert Einstein never thirsted for a challenge, where would our civilization be? There are no problems - only challenges to overcome.

I think I blew it in a big way. Lying 2 myself 4 as long as I can remember. I'm like in a hell. Think I'm dying slowly Sam Harris says freewill is an illusion. And I think he's saying that were not responsible 4 what we do as human beings. This idea sounds dumb 2 me. It's like saying everything is just based on luck. , the way u turn out. U were unlucky 2 have had bad parents I remember saying this 2 a friend in my youth.i was clinicly depressed . Just luck I said 2 him. He said that's a copout..should have followed my instincts who ever said hindsight is 20 20 was a genius. I'm twisted....God help me..

Karma isn't a real thing, And yes you can fight karma if it existed, Just follow Jesus christ and do what he had done as much as possible and that will make you a good and a great person, Believe me because the people who follow Jesus will have eternal life and not only this life which is full of suffering.

First off, I apologize for not commenting sooner; I wanted to do it last weekend but was sidetracked and ultimately forgot. Hopefully the proceeding thoughts will have been worth the wait. Your message is one that I, and many others, can resonate with. The success of Jordan Peterson is a testament to the enduring appeal of the "heroes journey myth" and "chaos-order paradigm" that you described. In fact, I was so taken in by this mythological worldview that it was all I thought about for a time. But I've come to see some flaws in it and I'm particularly concerned by the Nietzschean influence that underlies these ideas - at least as they are presently expressed. It seems to me that there are two competing and even contradictory perspectives that your provide here. Based off your channel's name, "The Ubermensch", I gather that you have studied and been influenced by Nietzsche (who hasn't!). But then you also adopt a biblical way of thinking. The question is: which side do you pick? One cannot be both Nietzchean and traditional - this doesn't mean that they cannot learn from Nietzsche - but it does mean that Nietzsche's philosophy stands as a direct criticism and rejection of all traditional morality (Biblical and Greek). The idea of _values_ was coined by Nietzsche - the Bible does not speak of values, nor does Aristotle. The Bible speaks of commandments or ethical duties, and Aristotle speaks of virtues or the means toward human excellence. To call morality a "value" implies that it is merely subjective and a product of "culture" (another modern term). For example, Japan may have different values from Israel, and who is to decide which one is right? This is why modern science has adopted the infamous _facts-value distinction_ which clearly relegates ethical concerns to the realm of mere human convention; the only real thing, according to a scientist, is the material world: the "fact of the _matter_ ". The idea of values thus undermines your beautiful exhortation to "pursue the eternal truth" or the "divine logos" - which is a very ancient idea indeed. The idea of chaos is more tricky. It has roots in ancient thought, not least in stories, but its present articulation is rather modern and I believe deleterious to your aforementioned exhortation. Simply put, one is not obligated to "go into the chaos and _create_ order". This implies that man is a creating being - one who creates values, order, and art based off his whims. The traditional view is as follows: there is a natural order and/or a God that one must know and/or obey - that's a rather awkward sentence, but it is necessary to reflect the tension that was present in traditional thought - the tension between Jerusalem and Athens. Anyway, whatever disagreement there was in Ancient times, both agreed about the essential nature of man. Man is a being who conforms to the moral order; he does not transform it; he does not create it. The ubermensch would have been considered a renegade much too ambitious and much too foolish. The truly moral man is he who masters himself; the truly wise man is he who knows that he does not know. With these theoretical criticisms having been stated, I want to applaud you for your practical exhortation to follow the divine path and obtain the virtuous life. Those are ideas that describe the highest that man can aspire to: moral, intellectual, and spiritual excellence. If you follow those ideas to their roots, and then continue to express them to the people around you, the world will have been made all the better.
