Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and Mortal Kombat 9 had the same amplify system that had to be pressed at the same time as the last button. This is why it was so hard for me to learn MK11 after mastering those older systems, now they brought it back. Even combo breakers and xray fatal moves are back too

Not a bad vid, and pretty sound arguments but it feels weird to see no mention of the Edios Montreal Deus Ex games, Thief or Splinter Cell. I get the older Thief games but the other two games are pretty modern.

After like a year, at least I can say Bangkok is decent, the barrier is having 2 equal halves where one is harder to get to but more barren so better sniper sightlines. WB monetizes all their games horribly. Any game they're involved with is going to have macro-transactions and the game-play is going to be alternated to support this monetization, meaning the greed is getting so aggressive, its become the focal point, the primary focus. You can't sell a game that's just there to sell things instead of being an enjoyable experience.

I never played anything after MK9, but what the hell is this stuttering (MK1) when you hit someone? It's as if time stops for a fraction of second and repeat.

Just started the video, so I don’t know if you mention it or not in the video… but the new Payday 3 dev team shut down one of my favorite payday-inspired Roblox games called “Notoriety”. The original devs were fine with the game and allowed it to stay up. I unfortunately began to really get into the game, right before it was taken down… WHICH SUCKS

At 6:50 the Advanced doesn’t kill on a body shot This is quite nice for sending targets off cliffs in front of others and keeping silent assassin It also plays music, which is nice

Here’s hoping the saints row ip gets sold and a competent studio picks it up. Maybe then we’ll get a saints row worthy enough to stand side by side with saints row 1 and 2.

Absolution would have definitely killed the franchise if fans didn’t protest the voice actor change and if Square Enix didn’t eventually agree to change it back. Can’t believe they even considered getting rid of David Bateson’s legendary voice and replacing it with such a generic and forgettable voice.

*I just looked at my Twitter to see if the post from one of the Developers was still there, sadly its gone but here was my interaction with a dev on Twitter when the first teaser dropped an entire year before the games release. I said "My God this looks terrible, cringe characters, terrible dialogue & acting I got a bad feeling about this one" the Developer actually responded I don't know how long it was as I don't live on Twitter. Anyway their response was simply "Your thoughts don't matter, this game isn't made for you & we are rebooting a franchise that had a problematic history & this new game is aimed towards a more diverse audience anyway". How did that work out for you then?*

Why couldn't they just improve Mk11 with a dlc that adds to what is already there, add new stories like series and fun game challenges to unlock goodies and special characters. There was totally no need to create a new game or play style. They don't make games with love anymore just "give me your money bitshes!" and the bitshes always fall for it.
