seems a strong female lead character would have an internal dialog other than soft spoken victim delivered in a half whisper. feels strange listening to that after a while.

Love this... what happened to Card.. did he and Eno merge? I can imagine writing a book much less a series/ universe is not easy. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the series.

Risk the genievian queen is the sequel series to Rika’s Marauders, I haven’t read it yet Rika’s Marauders books prequel, 1, 2, 3 were my favorites. They are all good but the later ones are my least favorite. Nevertheless truly a great series.

I swear, the closed captioning needs to be flogged. It keeps making bad mistakes, such as Jackson instead of Jickson, Gays instead of Gaze, and other mistakes.

Loved this series. The characters were brought to life by the story and the voice actor. Glad I followed a utube recommendation.

Wonderful series

The only flaw is making Andy less than he was in the first book. He was cautious and smart in the first book. The mistake that he makes with the puppy and Tim .This is out of character for Andy . It doesn’t feel right.

I have been really enjoying this novel. Typically UA-cam audiobooks tend to be a bit lackluster, but this one is hitting it out of the park so far.

One criticism but non criticismI have is the dehumanization of the opposing side. Sometimes I can’t tell if the story is trying to make us feel bad about the pain they are feeling or make us not care. Meanwhile although I love the chemistry between the characters but it seems as if they have a field day slaughtering. I wouldn’t pay it much mind in the parts where the enemies are simple canon fauder. Don’t know how to spell that word. Sorry. Overall though I love these stories. But it also makes sense because war is brutal, your meant to feel that way, the light heartedness of the main cast is trying to stay sane and not give in to the realities of war, they stay together, they need each other. ❤

laura jennings is almost magic as a narrator. she really brings this story to life. I was addicted in the first 10 minutes. how she captured the fear and desperation of andy as he stresses and worries about his kids and keeping the family going. keeping this way of life alive aboard this crumbling ship, the sacrifices and selflessness It takes to protect his family in an uncaring universe. the burden and the gift that is being needed by those you love most is so beautifuly written and brought to life here. I just adore this series so much.

I really enjoyed these books, one of the better space opera series out there. Also since you offered them for free here on UA-cam I popped on over to Audible and bought the pub pack of all the Rika books to support the auther even though I've listened to this series at least 3 times. After I bought the Rika series I looked up M.D. Cooper on Audible and found another series staring one Tanis Richards/ Tangel , starting with The Intrepid Saga and then the Orion War Series. still haven't gotten around to Origins of Destiny yet but it is in my library waiting for when I get the time. The narrator for the Rika series is Laura Jennings, one of the top 5 greatest narrators of all time in my book. I think I could listen to Laura read the ingredients off a box of corn flakes and be enthralled lol. Laura brought these books to life like no one else could have IMHO. Thank You Aeon 14 !!!

Pretty cool idea for a Rika story if what by accident some time slip Denise somehow launch Rica and the Marauders back in the 21st century a little girl who happens to be rika great great great great great great great great great great grandmother good thing that needs to know about her being a great great great grandparents that would be really weird I guess and this is from the 21st century you know this is interesting oh I definitely want to see my Rika she makes me laugh

I learn something new about everyone in this book each time I listen to this. I love that.
