Ha! I've thought a lot about how you could convey to the audience whether the conversation is link, verbal, radio, emotions over link. And the time dilation for each. Would be a fun cinematic challenge
I have several other series narrated, alas, I don't have the audio rights to put them up here for free. This is the full list of Aeon 14 audiobooks: www.aeon14.com/audiobooks
@@Aeon14 awesome!! I thought you were going to invite me over and read to me as i lay on the floor with my chin in the palms of my hands and kicking my feet as if I were walking. Lol I'm kidding. But it does bring out the kid excitement in a 42 year old man
@@Aeon14 I absolutely love love the books I've heard so far. No doubt I'm going to love the others when I get to them. Very well written from an nonprofessional readers/listeners point of view.
I am normally a fantasy novel reader and I want you to know I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I love the way the story is character driven and the science in the fiction is enough to make me buy into it without becoming overly technical. This is easily as enjoyable as a Wiess and Hickman Dragonlance series. Thank you for sharing it.
@@Sophocles13 definitely Dragonlance. Start with Dragons of the Autumn Twilight. Any RA Salvatore is great fantasy. David Eddings is good. For just a good character driven fantasy series Dragonlance is my absolute favorite.

An impressive achievement. A tense, gripping narrative with a number of plot devices that keep you listening. Thank you for sharing this original work.
@ 45:10 "I think he was trying to impress me... expecting I would think his 'network' the biggest I'd ever seen or something" bwahaha us guys are all the same I suppose!
This is the best book yet. I really enjoyed the part about the AI uniting. I can imagine that would be an awesome scene on the big screen or on TV. I still wonder how Nikki from the Reka books plays into this tho.
Lol ok...I'm gonna be that guy again: TLDR; limiting factor of acceleration would be the human body's tolerance to the G forces, regardless of how much more powerful one ship was vs the other. Of course, if I'm completely misunderstanding how or what's happening, then I've typed this all for nothing. Haha. Anyway, I'm looking forward to completing this, then the Rika books next!
Like the books but totally hate the start of each chapter in fact at times I think date a nd location is longest than some chapters it really grates on me
Isn’t there a whiff of Madeline L’Engle about these books? Not just “Wrinkle” but also “Meet the Austins” The heroine of that book, Vicky, has a lot in common with Many of the female characters in these books. Trying to give high praise here...
Thinking about it more, maybe the LEngle (and CS Lewis) feeling comes from it being a world that is as much if not more controlled by children than adults.
Should be made into a TV series!
They would probably fuck it up 😂
*yes but one major problem exists that would be a problem for live action...tim. tim is a franchise killer.

These audio books are fantastic 🎉
I think I might dip into a shallow depression after the next book. I'm going to miss these books more over this beautiful narrator.
Have you listened to the Rika books? She narrated those as well.
Lol yes I have in some of my comments in other videos I call her narrator Rika (she is the Rika of narrators)
I have several other series narrated, alas, I don't have the audio rights to put them up here for free.

I have listened to all 4 books in a row... now I'm left wanting more.... alas the final book in the series is not on youtube
It'll be up in a day or so :)
@@Aeon14 By far the best news I have read in ages :D
At 7:50 Fugia talks about heroin grapes. I love grapes so I'd probably be a junkie in the future.
Jajajajaja I love both! I quit heroin though! No more opiates for me! LoL I still love grapes though 😍 green grapes! 😁
Thanks great book

Good book
Yeah thanks after the first three I really wanted to know what happened next

The concern isn't for the humans, but balancing thrust between the ships
Ah interesting....it's been a few months so I can't remember why it bothered me, haha. I'm sure I'll come back to listen to these again though!
