Where do you get the Supra 2.0T is 500# more then a NC? Everything I read states the new Supra is around 3,400 lbs base. That being said I am Club shopping, NC or ND with BBR is what I am looking for. Whatever I find will get boosted at some point.

I only got a few minutes into his video a few months ago and his voice and weird enthusiasm was too annoying.

Great video. I’ve watched it a number of times. Great info. Really having a hard time deciding what to get. Low cost is important. Maybe I need to sacrifice some things I’m looking for.

Excellent video. You guys really do a fantastic job with these NC Miata videos. I’ve been shopping for one for a while. Tough car to buy, especially in my area. There is a relatively inexpensive 2006 touring not far from where I live. I’ve been reluctant to check it out because I think I’d like to have the lsd. How are you liking your 06 touring? The one I found is for $7200. It’s a beige color with 122000 miles on it. I’ve rewatched many of your videos. Great info. I look forward to your next one.

I love fd wheels! I have two sets, both powdercoated gloss black, on my 2.5 swapped silver NC1. One set is on all seasons and the other is on 200TW tires (RE71RS's and DWS06's). I've tried those falkens and I don't particularly like them; but I can't recommend the continentals enough.

The NC Miata keeps on growing more and more on me letely, especially the hardtop model.

Looks good! Those RX-7 wheels remind me of the five-spoke OEM wheels that came on NB Miatas. Nice way to tie an NC to the predecessor Miatas. Like you, I prefer the OEM-plus look, so I think the silver caps with the Mazda logo look best. Enjoy!

This is the wheel I chose. And I got the lighter unreinforced version. Painted them gloss black. Got some flat center caps, printed some yellow logos to match the car. Absolutely love them. Getting very hard to find.

You want some pro advice for rusty bolts? Put that can of wd-40 on a shelf, keep it around for it's adhesive removal ability. Then get yourself some PB Blaster. There's no comparison.

I was expecting more focus on the high mileage aspect, but maybe it's just that there really wasn't anything that came up as a result of that mileage? I'm shopping NC vs ND. I think the NC may well be what I end up with just for pure dollar value, but still figuring it out. Nice video anyway. Don't get too good at this and drive up the price of NCs before I can decide

I can't fit my bikes into the miata and the subframe seems reaaaly thin and weak to mount a hitch carrier to. Maybe you can make a vid about miata logistics? lol The Fd wheels look sick. Makes your nc1 look like an updated NA

Did you lower on 1”drop springs or the 1.5” overall drop? Trying to figure out if I’ll have any trouble putting 17” wheels on my car. I lowered mine 1.5” and my stock wheels are 16”

I highly doubt the enkei wheel are that heavy for being so narrow and small. Love me some FD wheels used run them on a Mazdaspeed 6 long time ago

I've owned a '94 Supra Twin Turbo manual, '99 Miata 10AE manual (that I supercharged with a Jackson Racing Supercharger), an '02 MR2 Spyder manual, an 06 C6 Corvette convertible and still own after more than 10 years a '13 Boxster 981S PDK with every single option (including ceramic brakes) except PSE, cooled seats and rear camera. The Supra was the scariest to drive at the time when the sequential turbos kicked in. I enjoyed the car but didn't "feel" it as a drivers car - it felt like a straight line street racers car instead. With the roof off it had noticeable cowl shake. I wanted a true roadster with a chassis designed to be a convertible. The Miata was much more interesting and involved driving and with the 192 supercharged horses, really came into its own. The Spyder was simply underpowered but I fell in love with the mid-engined chassis. You could feel the car respond and lean into tight turns in an indescribable way. It felt alive - just needed the 180 hp Celica GTS engine to make it perfect. The Vette was well just that, a GT type car and incredible torque at any speed - not a drivers car by any means but yet I loved it. Which brings me to the Boxster - yes it is too powerful to go even 6/10 on a public road (as are most modern sporty cars today). The harmony of all its components, features, comfort, storage, chassis, engine, sound, brakes, seats, steering, ergonomics, feel, sight, topdown or up, reliability and everyday drivability are unmatched compared to any car I have owned in over 40 years. It hits every sense and then some you didn't know existed. I am sure it has aged vs the new generation of roadsters, but the $50-75K upcharge to change is ridiculously not worth it. I bought the Boxster used in 2013 with ≈ 1000 miles sight unseen for $24K less than its original window sticker of ≈ $100k from SunCoast Porsche and had it shipped to MN. It was pricey (checking almost all the option boxes is costly) but it was the spec and Arctic Silver color I wanted (except for PSE which I subsequently added). Never say never, but I doubt that I will ever sell it - as perfectly slotted a roadster as any ICE car will ever be. My love for it continues to grow..

To answer your question; I listen to the radio at least twice a day as its my primary medium of keeping up with world events. I'm glad to see how easy this mod it is. Now to check the cost... Ouch.

All my mods are from Alibaba, these days with direct purchase from the manufacturer its so much easier to not pay the middle man tax 😉

If anyone is reading this. I swapped heated seats into my 2006 NC GT from a 2008 special edition GT. All you need is the center switch panel, and seats with the heated module. The wiring harness is already there and makes things plug and play

NA: Undoubtedly a classic car with classic car looks and vibes NB: Same classic vibes but a bit younger and better on the budget NC: Semi-modern with more usability, probably on the bottom of the depreciation curve so great moment to buy ND: Affordable modern sports car The best MX-5 is the one you are driving. I wouldn't hesitate to drive any of them but my money went into an ND.

I never liked black inlay tail lights or those blacked out ones on any car, but these are very nice especially with the other black accents and the white paint. Great!
