You’ll probably never notice from behind the wheel, but, from the camera angle in the video, you may be missing the little rubber cap that covers the air bag bolt on the steering column.
Ha excellent decision. I also own a 2011 mx5 kendo, in mica black with stone leather, bose etc. New cobra rear racing box which is very cool. And omg i love my mx5. Hopefully never selling it... john in the uk. Next mod would be a 200 bbr kit... new header etc.
Funny, I just flew from San Francisco to Las Vegas to buy an NC last Friday 🤙 My drive was only half the distance of yours, but similar whirlwind experience. And worth it :D
I really wish you guy’s could have come down to Fort Myers fl. Would have loved to meet you guys and show you around the 2.5 swap I’m currently working on which I’m almost finished with.
I have your car's twin... Sparkling Black 2011 Special Edition. The grey interior is what sold me on it, and I love it. I've been driving it daily for almost 3 years now.
@miatachannel you bastard! Did you steal my car?? I HAVE THE 2011 Sparkling Black Mica Special Edition! ;) Great choice! I already have a liquid silver nc2 haha they are such great cars!!
Back on ND number 3 after going to faster and more expensive cars. also had an NC and an NA. I'll probably end up with another NA as a forever car in the next few years. Looking forward to the content with yourselves and Jordan this year.
So cool to see a SBM on this channel in october i picked up a 2011 special edition same colour but my interior is black (Canada) but its completely stoxk 1 owner it was winter stored and judging by engine bay and underneath neber seen rain. Only.50k kms (31k miles) Stored for winter bht this car can give me ideas on what to do to it! Also ive driven from toronto to virginia beach to LA to SF and back alone in a mustang 10 years ago...its doable. My longest day was 16 hours 1000 miles ...music and podcasts and coffee...mosf memorable 2 weejs of mt life. Some day ill do all of route 66 in my NC
That is am impressive solo Drive! Ive been getting told Podcasts are key, I need to find some that I like. Lucky for me Austin loves driving long distance so it made the trip very doable! Id love to hear more about your ideas for your SBM NC! the color is just so good!
@Jeffboydr classic loveline on UA-cam can't go wrong with that For my Miata its sort of a work daily. I have a grand Cherokee as I have a wife dog and kid so the Miata is to go to and from work for a more enjoyable drive but also save on gas. Not tracking it or racing. I plan to just do a colour matched ducktail spoiler, wider wheels as the stock stick inside too much, tint the headlights, front and side splitters, a slightly better exhaust, and next winter during storage I'll probably install coilovers. Down the road maybe upgrade brakes but that's about it I prefer to keep everything stock / OEM+...I like that "breathed on" look nothing too crazy. I am very excited for future content on your reunited Miata ...all 3 are great builds I like everyone's opinions and comments on this channel. Great content thanks to all of you looking forward to more...cheers from Canada!
yay!!! Jeff!!! So happy for you! What a neat story!
Welcome BACK to the club👏🏼👏🏼
Dang guys, all of you with NCs makes me want to swap my ND for an NC 😅. Starting over on the mods would be tough… glad it worked out in this case!
cool that Jeff got his car back!
great video and congrats. Exciting feeling.
Driving back a Mx5 a feeling you can‘t forget 😊

Same for me except 2.5 years. Absolutely love it and the color contrast is just perfect
its a great color combo!! Apparently its very limited for the year we had too!
I’ve got one too, love the color.

bring it to Miatas at the Gap this August.
Ha! Damn when I first saw this I thought Jordan was retrieving HIS previous NC and we were going to have matching Highland Green Micas.
Ironically that Highland Green he once had was my first ever ride in an NC, and we may or may not have hit a curb! Thats such a good color!
