Or you could not have a lock on your tailgate and someone steals your tailgate door with the camera… happened to me so inconvenience of that for you is a necessity for me

I have 2024 Crewcab 4x4 LWB 6' bed. I live in a hot area so i always have my ac on, it wil negate your engine shutoff feature, just a tip. Also to be honest, when it is on, i dont even notice the engine on/off feature when i come to a stop.

Put some AT tires on, one size up should be fine as it would match the tire size on the Pro4x. Maybe a small 2 inch lift, but a real suspension lift, not blocks and spacers. Or just leave it stock because it's beautiful the way it is.

I hate the start stop too and who doesn’t, also I hope Nissan can get the driver seat right one day, the ball joint snafu is a bummer but it will get fixed, in the meantime hope you enjoy your new truck, if it was mine, I would leave it stock OEM with no mods or changes, I been through that kind of stuff, just drive it and you’ll have less problems and headaches. Your gas mileage is all based on your driving habits and that's why you get 12 one time 27 the next. When you first filled your tank it said 400 mi to empty now it says 300 The computer is projecting your driving habits.

I watched your video on 2022, among others, and decided to get the Frontier 2024. My first truck, and I love it. I got the exact truck you did, except it's even more basic. No extras. But It does have the start and stop feature, and I notice that when I step on the brake all the way down, it turns off, but if I leave my foot on the brake, it stays on. Have you had the same experience? Great video. Thanks for your insights into the truck. Please make a video for that button and add that wireless charge to the truck.

On the 23s the seat still does that. Countless times in the morning I got into my truck and the seat was all the way! “Freaky as hell!” Good money in tailgates! No problems with the entertainment center.

I went to a wrap shop and had a mat blackout panel installed center portion of my hood. Looks fantastic. Only ran $200.

Never unbolt a spring bracket under tension without support. He could have been seriously hurt. Support the FRAME with Jack stands and use your hydraulic Jack to support the spring/axle while you unbolt the brackets. Then lower the Jack gently to relieve the stored energy in the spring.

When the AC is running heavy, the auto on/off won't shut off. If you're idling without a load, the auto on/off kicks in.

White trucks are work trucks. My father told me that many years ago when I was going to buy a white truck. I think the Graphics on your truck would look great! Also, I agree with you on that auto start stop crap. I have to push the button every time, but now all of the midsize trucks have it. I'm going to have to fix mine. As for a lift, they look great , but make it harder for me when I am climbing in the bed for work. Thanks so much for showing us your truck. I will follow and watch your improvements. 👍

I have a ‘24 Pro4x. Great truck. This one has No tech nothing but what ever is stock on a pro4x. I’m sure some of it is cool and all, but never have I used it so I don’t miss it. Good luck on your adventures

Does your Frontier have a power driver seat? I read on internet that the seat reclines/moves a little after engine is off.

Living here in Chicago that tailgate would be stolen in the first month. I’d imagine NY, Miami, LA, Atlanta etc has the same problem. Price a tailgate & you will see why they do it.

You clearly have a defective radio. That's not a Nissan design thing (and of course a Nissan QC issue). You should have had it replaced under warranty.

Hi Pancakes, I have a '23 P4X and it's perfect. No issues or niggles at all. Parking Paul was not an issue, no buzzing, no issue with the rear door. It's night and day. ( although the seat button has not changed)... I'm stepping out with the P4X steps so I don't hit that button. I can see that being an issue for some. The tailgate lock is still doing that! I may remove the lock... good Idea. The radio screen is not giving me any issues... working perfectly. First year issues suck.... maybe you should trade for a '24?

This is why I bought a 2022 tacoma after 2 years absolutely no problems and better yet it doesn't have any BMW or Mercedes incorporated into it!

You probably wanna have a lock on that tailgate specially if it’s power so someone doesn’t steal it. It has been happening a lot of different areas.

Two Enlighten you they like stealing your whole tailgate once it dropped down the the hinges and bolts are easily accessible and they can steal your whole tailgate and toodle down the road with it😅

Try the old fashioned way of finding your gas mileage. Divide the number of miles traveled by the number of gallons of gas your vehicle took to refill. In sum, that's miles driven divided by gallons of gas used. The truck readings probably are not accurate.

Auto stop start is a deal killer for me. Wont have it even if you can disable it everytime.

Sounds like you should have gotten a S trim. I have king cab S 4x4 no power seats no auto lock tailgate. Quickly there is a tech bulletin out to reprogram the cruise control also holding the power button on the radio while it’s on for 15 seconds will reboot your radio and probably solve the radio issue.

Great video! Are they still forcing the garbage offroad recovery backpack on all Pro4x models? Its like $70 worth of amazon crap they charge $500 for and when I was looking at frontiers it appeared to be a mandatory item.

Locking tailgate is great if you have a bedcover.

I'll take my 22 Frontier over the new 24 Taco which has piss poor quality and a turbo charged 4 banger. And every other truck is also a turbo charged 4 banger my one gripe is the lack of a trailer brake controller. My other gripes are the radio and the sensor on the front bumper. When it accumulates snow, cold, dirt it shuts the cruise control off.
