  • Here I install a New Belltech rear sway bar to my 1995 Nissan D21 Hardbody. Other than being able to get the rear sway bar up in the truck, the bracket for the sway bar landed right on a factory mount. A little drilling and grinding solved eveything.

That video made the job look a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Luckily I chopped the exhaust to the cat so hopefully I will be able to get it in position a little easier hehe. Thanks for making this video!

Overall, I think it was very easy to install this. It’s just on my truck. I had to modify the hanger so the clamp would fit other than that. It was pretty simple and straightforward. Thank you so very much for watching.

@10:50 that is a resonator and is on all factory d21 exhausts not a cat so California(San diego) only had the design portion to blame

Thank you very much for pointing that out. Most of the D21’s I’ve ever had were much older. They never had the extra resonator on them. At least not what I remember. I think when I was in the heat of it (installing the rear sway bar) having that resonator up there was making me upset.
Thank you so very much for watching my videos.

Most people un hook or remove the load valve completely

I would totally love to unhook it. I just don’t know about all the brake lines. If I could install a proportioning valve up on the brake master cylinder, that would be awesome. Thank you so very much for watching my videos.

@jolede029 if it is in the unloaded section it does nothing different if it is loaded it applies more to the rear. If you plug the loaded line at the start (near the firewall) and remove the hard line and load valve you simply connect the remaining flexible line from the rearend to the hard line that is left

True, but then I will not have 80/20 brakes. It would be 50/50 so it would not brake as good. But if I put a custom proportioning valve in, then I could manually adjust the braking difference from the front to the back. That rear valve is basically a weight adjusting proportioning valve. What do you think? Do you see what I am trying to say?
      Thank you very much.

@jolede029 there is a proportioning valve already that's how you have 80/20. If you remove rear valve it doesn't decrease your front brakes it just un clutters the rear

Very good to know. I will look at taking it out. Thank you very much for letting me know and sharing that info.
