Thank you, Sandy, for your candid comments about cruises that are more appealing to old timers. I was disappointed, however, that you didn't mention Celebrity. That line was our favorite. By far, our most enjoyable single cruise was on Celebrity's Infinity, from Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal and on up to San Diego.

Actually you went on a cruise that had the Love Boat cast... Well, whats left of it. The actual official Love Boat cruise... was the 50th anniversary of Princess cruises in 2015. It was on the Pacific Princess and duplicated the original itinerary ( and many of MDR meals) of the first ever Princess Cruise... It had nothing to do with the East Coast... Thankfull. It was all West Coast and Mexico. And yes everybody from The Love Boat cast was there including what's his name that sings the theme song .. I got so damn tired of hearing that song over and over and over and over and over and over again. I must have ridden an elevator with Gavin MacLeod 10 times. We started joking about it. If I can avoid it, I will never ever go on a cruise that is so full of elite status people again. I've been elite status for many years, but nobody knows unless they happen to see my card or medallion. I've never been on a ship with more insufferable people before. It was horrible. Princess is not what it used to be, but is still one of my favorite cruise lines.

You did not go on blind dates... you went on dates. A blind date is you have not interacted with the person, know very little if anything about them, and more often than not set up by a third party.

When i worked at a restaurant in Beverly Hills in 2001 I waited on Issac (black bartender) in the cocktail lounge of Lawreys the Prime Rib. He was very pleasant. I waited on tons of famous people which was interesting.

I’m literally at the “we’re sorry the product didn’t workout page.” I too will be returning, and I really hope they refund all of my money. The clothes are gorgeous online, but just don’t translate the same in person. My packages were also shipped separately, but they never shipped the other item. However, I was able to cancel. Buyer beware: if it says in stock it might not be. They will send when it’s available. Wish me luck

Hi Sandy! I happened upon your video today and wanted to comment on your online dating journey. Nine years ago I met my husband on an online dating site for over 50’s. I had just turned 58 and had been divorced for 15 years. We have been happily married for 6 years now and we are extremely happy we both had the gumption to go out on a limb and try something different. He had quite a few dates before I came along and we laugh about one of them to this day because the gal had posted a photo that was at least 20 years old! That was their last date lol! 😆 We are now 66 and 69 and so grateful we met back in 2016. Were we scared? YES!! But to this day we’re very glad we felt the fear and DID IT ANYWAY!! Loved your story, Sandy, and can’t wait to hear more about your beautiful life!! 🤗

I love Hallmark movies. I watched several last week when I couldn’t bear to see any more news. They are a great escape from reality. I tell my family that I think I could write them by now! 😀

I am a 63 year old female and tried online dating for 8 months but was very disappointed every time I went on dates since there was no chemistry. I also felt frustrated that when I chatted on line with men who I found attractive they would disappear after a few days, which made me realize that they were talking to different women at the same time and then move on to the next best thing. Hi Sandy! I wanted to tell you that Hallmark Christmas movies also provided comfort to me when I was recovering from a brief health issue a few years ago. I was having trouble sleeping at that time, and I found the movies to be very calming and relaxing to watch before bed. I was too wound up to watch anything too exciting and stimulating, so the Hallmark movies were perfect because they did not require much thought and I could mellow out in the evening and sleep more easily.

Hi Sandy -- :-) I understand how you feel. When my sister was incapacitated and in the hospital, a few years ago, we watched Hallmark movies. all the time. it was all that was playing. Lol... These movies touch our hearts and help us heal. Peace...

Last week, I received a text from my very best friend of 70 years. It read “There’s not enough Hallmark movies in the world to get me through this election”😂 She had been bingeing.

They feed healthy, pure entertainment. Soothes the spirit.

I haven’t dated for about 4 1/2 years and i sometimes think about joining a site. I am 65 retired and looking to get back to work.

I was catfished on a widow and widowers 50+. He was the administrator of the group . We talked for a month he had me with all the love bombing and songs . Love letters and he told me he would come and see me the first of November. I ask to exchange phone numbers and that’s when I knew he wasn’t who he said he was , he kept taking to me after I said we needed to stop talking . He sent more pictures of himself . He finally knew I was finished and he deleted me from the group , I’m sure he was afraid I would expose him to other members . I finally deleted all our conversations.

It took me about 7 years to meet my husband on a dating site. We were both 57 at the time. My story is a cautionary tale though. We lived in different cities, about a 2 hour drive from each other so we only saw each other on the weekends. Well, of course we were both on our best behavior and had a great time together for the few days a week that we spent together. After a year and a half of dating, we got married. I sold my home, quit my job, left my friends and family, and moved into his house after the wedding. This is where things get weird. From day one after I moved in, he revealed a totally different person than who I thought I married. He displayed a lot of anger, controlling behavior, and just plain meanness. Sad to say that after enduring 12 years of his abuse, I finally filed for divorce. The moral of this story is be careful of the long distance relationships. It's really impossible to know someone if you don't spend time with them on a daily basis.

I agree, so frustrating. Like my mom did, I've used Clinique products for years. They've also changed their formulas on other products, including moisturizers, without changing the name. The eye corrective cream is thicker now, and drier. Other than the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, I no longer trust their products. Thank you, so good to know about the white bumps! Online dating is somewhat.............desperate. Just be your lovely self and someone will come along....many men want younger women or they are after your money or want you to be a nurse. FORGET IT. Go about your life get on out there and you'll meet good people. And consider: you may have to get through their kids or Grandkids or Heaven forbid....an ex. Join a class painting etc a book club....but if you want company: other women or even pets will serve. If you want sex.................GO FOR A YOUNGER MAN.🤫

I'm so jealous! I'm 46 and grew up watching The Love Boat, then rediscovered the reruns about a decade ago. It's one of my favorite shows and I hope I can go on one of these cruises one day!

I love your encouragement, I am 70 years old. During my younger years i have always wanted to have family but it never happened. Those days I have permanent job working as a health care in NHS in London. Living my life alone I will go to dance hoping to find a man who will accept me as who I am today and not who I would be tomorrow in regards of my job. I have never try to make life difficult for others. Eventually I have to move forward accept life goes on. I have always wanted to companionship, who could treat me like a woman, be kind, show respect and treat each other with equal. Tried many years past not too sure could it be I am a foreigner and I am Chinese probably not in their favour. I have a man who I have still kept in touch, ( we know each other for more than 20 years, he is still single. I have this thought would it be appropriate on my part to bring the subject of living together . At present I have migrated to my homeland in Malaysia and he lives in London. I have always secretly wishing he would bring his opinion , proposed to me. Madam you certainly still look gracefully beautiful and I thank you for your support and appreciation

Tried it. Never got past a bunch of silly, slow, back and forth texting that went nowhere on that goofy Bumble thing. Men were rude. I just gave up.

I have NO desire to be back in the dating game. I'm 69 and SO happy to be living alone with just my two little dogs. No drama, no "stuff" to put up with. I went through my "phase" of feeling lonely after being divorced, like I needed a man in my life. Not anymore, it is a LUXURY to be living on my own with no man to interrupt how I want to live my life.
