Hi Darren not checked in for a bit but so happy to see your subscriber numbers are rocketing upwards. Said they would all that time ago and it's thoroughly deserved, the quality of your videos has never ebbed and I think you are amongst the best truck vloggers in the country now, with various camera positions while manoeuvring, hooking up and doing the daily checks along with helpful advice and tips for new and upcoming drivers. I'm in awe at your ability to keep the almost daily videos coming at such quality, it takes me more than a day to put together one weekly video! 6:54 M62 J26-J27 was my very first, in fact my first 3 deliveries of tarmac back in the spring of '84! After loading and 20 minutes of driving I had to get the atlas out to find my way to the M1! It was on that 2nd or 3rd load that a girl flashed me from the back seat of a bus, I knew then this was the job for me. 😮😉😂🤣🤣 Have seen lots of stuff in the years since too! I remember the tall ships video you mentioned. Sorry you didn't make it back this night but hopefully the old adage was true that absence did indeed make the heart grow fonder. The house in the middle of the M62 is called Stott Hall Farm. It wasn't demolished to make way for the M62 because of a geological issue under the farm, which would have made the surface of the road unstable. Hence, the building survived and still stands, to this day!
Brilliant video as per Darren, sunscriber count just keeps climbing! I believe the true version for the house is that the ground isn't structural enough to be able to withhold the traffic. Although I do like the version where the owners didn't sell it haha!

I bet there is a lot of pollution that you can’t see circling around the house anyways thank you Darren love looking out your front window as your trucking down the motorways and love, the fact that you give us, some facts as you’re driving about certain things again thank you my friend. The new road in Hull. It is a new road running alongside the old one, the new one will ease taffic congestion for local traffic. The old one will remain for traffic coming off the docks & will be uninterrupted to travel out to the M62. They have installed a foot bridge for pedestrian traffic to cross the busy dock traffic road. Also, they are building a tunnel underneath for local traffic access. It's been over four years in the making & will be an amazing bit of engineering when it finished next year!
@@Life_of_DarrenYes the haulage & the ferry traffic was always backed up due to traffics lights & pedestrian crossings eventually backing up & choking the City. It’s quite amazing the construction engineers have been doing all this work without holding traffic flow too much! Nice to see you in Hull…👍
Nice video, the M62 looks really nice never been across that before, was that services you stopped for a break Ferrybridge ? I've stopped there once before doing a Doncaster trunk. Pity you never made it home but hopefully home tonight since it's Friday
At @27:50, I first thought you've killed a bird then realized it was part of the tree. The way it was clumped looked like some resemblance of a bird. I hadn't realized that sub counted doubled. Congrats 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳🎂🎂🎂🎂
