So what about when the key hole on the lock is rotating like seemingly spinning
If it is making a complete rotation then the back of the plug is not coming into contact with the actuator correctly. Meaning, there's most likely some space between the plug and actuator for some reason (this can happen in LOTO locks) or something else is going on and most likely just broken.
If you have a copy machine could you take a photo copy of some of the picks with out handles so I could gets some design.
@@Blakes123 there are pick templates you can find online. Don't remember where, but definitely available. Can always trace your old picks as well

@@jeffandthings77 as long as there are no pokey stabby bits you should be fine. What I specifically don't bring are my bypass "knifes" and very short hooks

Is this from a bigger master keyed system perhaps where the 'ghost' cut on your key works a cylinder which actually had a pin to interact with that first shoulder cut?
@@lauxmyth that's a great point! I wonder if that is it. I'm not sure to be honest. I bought it new and didn't come as a set in any way. Don't remember where I bought it from though...
@@LockpickingDev There are rumours that I have locks and I cannot say where I got or bought. I feel seen. Back on this, I was asking as some lock makers have made such locks and keys.

Hello world! Quick question: is there a reason why you chose a BOK over a TOK for this lock? I have the same lock, and it's been giving me hell. Have a good one!
@@EDF4242 there is! It's because I use TOK too much and was having a hard time getting anywhere with TOK. Sometimes switching to BOK gives a slightly different turning pressure and gives feedback. I was having more lock with BOK in this instance. I prefer TOK but try BOK more often now if I'm not getting alot with TOK.

Those can be very tricky sometimes.
I have a few 5200s that have serrated pins, serrated spool pins, and serrated key pins. My brother let me borrow one to pick that had the cheap Master core with the bump-stop pin. It's interesting to see this much variance in what is the same model of lock.
