Ok, cool. So the #1 should be vulnerable to the “American lock bypass” and the #3 is not. I was wondering if I could knife open the #3 because it uses spring latches, but that does not appear to be possible either. Not that it’s necessary. I only need to pick pin 2 and 3 on mine. I was just curious. You answered all my questions, thanks!
Cant wait for gen 2 self lubricating
Nice! My gf sells racoon baculum, she even has an otter baculum. I might have to ask her to make me some pick handles instead! Edit: im pretty sure she has some "processing" as well, right now she has less than a half dozen, but im pretty sure she has more racoon, fox, and mink. Im gonna have to have her make me a whole set of handles! These are awesome! Just awesome!
@@Phred_Phlintstoner have her make some for sure!
@LockpickingDev yeah, it's pretty much a done deal. I bought a few dxck picks when they first came out, as soon as she gets home I'm gonna ask her to make them for me. I just wish I wouldn't have sold one of them for her yesterday to a buddy who moonshines... I hadn't considered making handles out of them, that was a stroke of genus! Where can I get the pick profile in this video from though?
@ the pick profile is currently not available to buy directly
I just got through with my Multipick set, but I can see the box cutter handles making them anxious. Thanks for sharing this information!
@@SouthpawPickingPete-qi8qr you're welcome!

@McNally
Biblically accurate lock pick
Your videos are awesome. Something a bit different every video
@@chefgav1 thank you!
I’m glad that you did this video. I have one in my “naughty bucket” that I need to pull back out. Even though I already knew what they have inside it’s still good to see it with your own eyes. Well done! P.S. Make more of those keys and pins in clear resin please.
@@GpotterBMX thanks! I may make more keys in resin in the future. I did enjoy getting those out to the community
@@LockpickingDevit’s the holiday season, Christmas is coming.
I got one of these passed down from family and i have been trying to find the year on it, my guess sometime 1910-1920 but eho knows 🤷 great video! Cool to see whats inside
That looked a bit tricky but great picking 👍
Just make a lock that you need 3 different
Kind of like the idea of making and selling picks out of garbage. And market it as some sort of homeless post apocalyptic vibe but in all reality it's just recycled materials.
Commenting for the algae rhythm.
When grinding small parts like this I strongly recommend using vise grips. Holding it in your bare hand there’s a fairly high chance of the stone grabbing your piece and slicing your fingers open. Also, there are both push and pull files.
Where you said “pinch point” you mean “stress riser” you never want sharp edges or corners, that’s where the stress lives as you’re using the tool. That’s where it will bend or break. Same goes for knives.
Great job, I just found 17, 9 - SC1, 8 - Y1 and only 4 have keys. have a great day
Nice picking! I wanna pick mine too to see how it compares to the Yale Superior (5 pin and 4 sliders) Just use a second circlip remover to pry the circlip "open" from both siedes. This way it will not slide around in circles. Of course this can destroy the circlip if you use too much force 💪. So careful there 😂 I think the last pin that you were puzzled about was a T pin.
I enjoy making picks more than I do using them.
It's difficult to make yourself use them after done! Don't want to mess them up haha. Happy picking!
I love it i seen someone use epoxy handles and put security pin in the handle
Nice, ive never seen a new one before. I know that first pin had to of made it a bit difficult to pick. Did you custom order yours? Ive been wanting to buy one and have my name stamped into it as well as specifying what pin lengths I want.
@@jack_of_all_trades_master_none I actually bought it off eBay! WB are great locks to learn impressioning on too
So what about when the key hole on the lock is rotating like seemingly spinning
If it is making a complete rotation then the back of the plug is not coming into contact with the actuator correctly. Meaning, there's most likely some space between the plug and actuator for some reason (this can happen in LOTO locks) or something else is going on and most likely just broken.
If you have a copy machine could you take a photo copy of some of the picks with out handles so I could gets some design.
@@Blakes123 there are pick templates you can find online. Don't remember where, but definitely available. Can always trace your old picks as well
@@LockpickingDevfound some.
I knew it would google when you set a pin. Love it.
Could I get a link to the shim stock roles. Please.

Duuuuude, those are dope. 😍
@@SeeStuDo they are incredibly convenient!
"Yeah man your making us do our jobs so uhhh, toss it, 5000$ fine, or jail. Your choice
@@pyrokine9538 they weren't quite that rude nor did I once complain. It makes perfect sense why a box cutter handle isn't allowed as a carry on 😂
Good advice. You've got me curious now how TSA responds to the jackknife picks!
@@jeffandthings77 as long as there are no pokey stabby bits you should be fine. What I specifically don't bring are my bypass "knifes" and very short hooks
